The hooded figure reached one greasy finger towards her, cursing and laughing at the blood dripping off her shoulder. "You'll never escape. It's your curse. You will never find peace!" He screamed at her, finally reaching her as he sneered over her curled up body. "You won't escape me this time. I will find you and I will end you. Once and for all!"
She woke with a start, hair matted and clothes damp with sweat. She sat up in bed, her senses letting her know that the boy in the next room was awake. She silently crept to his room, opening the door slightly to speak to him, and then screamed in absolute horror. He'd cut his hand open, blood dripping steadily, flooding her senses with lust and wanting. Backing away, she grabbed the bag she always kept packed just in case, the money hidden in her sock drawer, the food bag stashed in her closet, and ran away on a bus headed out of town. Crying softly to herself as she became aware yet again how close of a call she had, realizing the man in the nightmare was right, she'd never escape.
The bus had about three other people on it, all huddled in their seats. It was two in the morning, after all. Thank god for that, she thought. Maybe this time I can escape him. For good. She knew it was wishful thinking, but he had to be wrong about her. There had to be a better life for her than this, running each time his spawn found her and cut open some part of him to lure her in. This couldn't be all she had to look forward to in life.
The bus took her to a city called Willowsberg, a big enough city to hide in for a while. It was 38 hours away from the last town she hid in, and hopefully she'd be able to lie low for more than a couple months.
Or so she thought.___________________________________________________________
So. I decided to make a vampire story where instead of the new girl coming in to find a vampire boy, I'd do a vampire girl coming in to find a human boy, I guess. Pretty much all I see is the boys are the vamps and the girls are helpless humans, and wanted to switch it up a bit. I hope you enjoy
P.s. I have updated this section as of 01/21/2019. Please enjoy :)
