Stacie's P.O.V
Hi my name is Stacie. I'm 18 years old. I live with my mom Esme in Alaska. She divorced my father in 2003, so I was 4. Anyways this year I was going to visit my father in Nevada. His name is Mark. Well today I was flying to his house in Dayton. But anyways I had no idea what was going to happen on this trip.
I have always been a shy person. Since I was 7. Well today was the first day of high school. I was always taught at home. So this was the first year I was going to see what school was really like. No one was really talking to me. Until this guy walked up to me. "Hey my name is Ling. What's yours?" He said.
"Um my name is Stacie." I said quietly.
"Oh I like that name. Anyways I can tell your new to this school, but don't worry. You can hang out with my until you find a group you can fit into." Ling said smiling at me.
Then we started walking down the hall to our classes. I looked at my schedule. "Oh great I have P.E. first period." I said to myself. I found my way to the gym. I took a deep breath and walked in. I was greeted by this really perky girl. "Hi my name is Jessica, but you can call me Jess." She said.
"Hey I'm Stacie." I said shyly.
"Oh cool. Wait your that new girl aren't you." She said.
"Is it that obvious?" I asked.
"Oh yea it's easy to find the new kids. Hey why don't you sit by me and my friends during lunch it will be fun I promise." She said. I nodded.
"Great see you then." She said running off. When P.E. was over. I went to all my classes. Math, Science, then Social Studies. Then lunch rolled around. The bell rang and the class went out the door and ran to the cafeteria. I carefully picked my stuff up and walked to my locker to put all my stuff in it and grab my biology book. When I closed my locker there was a man standing right next to me.
He didn't say anything, just stared at me. Then walked away. I shook my head. Then I headed towards the lunch room. I found Jess. She was waving at me. I saw Ling too and many other people. I walked over and sat down. "Hey girl. You might know him." Jess said pointing at Ling.
"Yea I do I met him this morning." I said putting my hair behind my ear.
"Oh that's cool." She said.
Then someone put their hands on Jessica's face. She grabbed their hands and pulled them off. "Suprise!" The girl said.
"Babe why did you do that I hate surprises." Jess said joking. The girl leaned down and kissed Jess on the lips.
"Oh sorry this is Anna. My girlfriend." Jessica said as Anna sat down.
"Oh you most be Stacie. I heard all about you. Jess likes to talk sometimes." She said. Just then she turned her head and looked at the door.
"Hey guys look how's showering us with their presence." Anna said.
"Who are they?" I asked.
"Oh it's just the Blacks." Ling said.
"Yea the ones in the front are Alex and Mandy. And the ones that just came in are Alice and Jasper." Anna said.
"How's that?" I said as the boy who was at my locker earlier walked in.
"Oh that's just Andy. Apparently he's too good for anyone at this school, so I wouldn't worry about him." Jess said.
But for some reason I did worry. He looked like he was in pain. Not physically, but mentally. I looked at him more closely. He looked hot, he was wearing a falling in reverse t-shirt. He was perfect. I have never actually talked to him yet, but I knew that he was the one for me. All I needed to do know was wait.
