Jaska's POV Present

pink nose, blue lips, and red cheeks fill up my camera lens. ezra is the always my favorite person to take pictures of. he insists he will brake the camera, i am more worried he will brake my heart. but how did I get here? why hasn't he left yet? i set down my camera and gasp for air.

Ezra's POV Present

Crunching leaves, shutter closing, nervous breathing fill my ears. Even with no words spoken Jaska makes the best noise. Tapping the most recent beat I have listened to, my mind drifts to one-hundred forty nine days ago. Life is like a rubber band, it stretches to it's fullest ability, breathes a sigh of relief, then lets all the pain hit. Setting down my IPod I listen to the gasping breath.
