Chapter 1

I awaken in a large battlefield covered in strawberries and over-sized weapons.
This was the scene of a long, horrible war that lasted for many years on end, and I was just waking up. Many centuries after it happened.
The cold stare of my mistress flys at me like a ray of sunlight.
"Cat's Quartz." My Diamond addresses me. "You were sent back to your normal form. I expected better from you." "Do not ever, ever fail me again."
The funny thing is, I wasn't meant to fight at all. Strategy was my game and that's all I knew how to play. But since this was forced all onto me, and I am of my mistress's court. I'm expected highly of...
"CAT'S EYE!" White Diamond shrieks, making me focus.
"TZT-" I fall backwards, coming back down to earth.
"If you didn't notice, the only way you were saved from the Diamond's Super Weapon was from a shield that fortunately rested on your gem, protecting you from any blast. You got lucky."
I nod, standing up.
"We're going back to the base." My mistress orders, grabbing me by the hand.
I follow behind her. We enter a warp pad. Light surrounds us as we teleport off, into space.
