*Nevaeh's POV*
"Come on Nevy! It's just a little party!" Heaven squeezed my hand smiling bigger than I thought possible. Her eyes twinkling.
"Heaven you're the popular girl at school." I stated flatly,
"Of course it's just a little party to you! But to me I... I don't like people." I looked at my feet, knowing that no matter what I say she's going to force me to go. Even if she had to drag me there kicking and screaming."Nevaeh," She grabbed me by my shoulders, looking into my eyes, "it's Senior year, you have to go to the big Halloween Party!" She laughed,
"Won't your friends be there?" She smiled."Of course the cheerleaders will be there," I snapped, stepping back "it's not like they pay any attention to me though." I said angrily.
"Bailee's your friend." She said almost hopefully.
"Bailee is the cheer captain. It's basically her job to be friends with everyone!" I almost yelled. She cringed.
"Sorry I snapped." I apologized."Aidan will be there. You like Aidan." She said quietly smirking. Silently daring me to prove her wrong.
Aidan is my biggest crush ever. I looked at her shocked then raged!
"Ahhh!!" She squealed and ran down the stairs.
I ran after her and right into mom.
"Girls!" She screamed, putting her hands on her hips. She shot us both disapproving glares.
We both stopped, freezing immediately. You could almost hear the "oh crap" by the intake of our breaths.
"Yes mother?" We said in unison.
"Go to your room. NOW!" She said pointing up the stairs, shaking her head. "You know the rule! In bed at eight!"
We walked back up with our heads hung low. Our mother is extremely strict, she thinks that in order to get "proper sleep" we must be in our room with the light out by eight o'clock. It is a little cruel but we know she loves us.
"Ooh, busted" dad laughed quietly. My dad is way more chill. He likes to joke with us and make us laugh. My mom gets jealous sometimes, but she's just not the "joking type". I've always wondered how those two ended up together, but now that they are they seem perfect together.
"Shut up." I playfully slapped his arm and we both giggled.
"You really should get to bed though, don't want to get in any more trouble. And Halloween is tomorrow." He smiled and winked.
"Ok." me and Heaven sighed together.
"Goodnight," dad smiled.
"Goodnight," we said walking to our room.
We walked across the hall and to our room, I closed the door quietly behind me.
"Full moon tomorrow you scared?" She asked climbing into the top bunk.
"No," I laughed, "no reason, it's just gonna be like every other Halloween. I'm not a werewolf and neither are you. In fact, they don't exist." I said fluffing my pillow.
"Yeah whatever. But this Halloween will be different. Because this time I'm forcing you to go to the party." I could hear the smile in her voice. I bet she's already planning out exactly how she is going to kidnap me and take me there against my will if I don't agree to go.
"Whatever you say." I said drifting off to sleep.
We yawned in unison and laughed.
"Twin telepathy," we said together then giggled once more.
My eyes fluttered closed and I drifted off into dreamland. No fears or worries, I can fly and whirl and tumble and run free. My world is perfectly how I want it.
