Poem #1

Never did it occur to me that you would give up

Even when circumstances would get a little rough

I thought you'd stay forever, fooled myself that you'd fight

Love was your reason, and our future seemed so bright.

Prayed every night that I might be with you

Always half-living, hoping my dreams would come true

Trusted when you said that you love me too

Remembering all the promises that I made for you.

I was then left in shock when you walked out one day

Crossing every word and all the promise you've said;

Kicked every hope and all my dreams away

at a glance you made everything an awful shade of gray.

Breaking my heart, killing me softly

Ending everything, leaving me lonely

Now that you're gone, how do you expect me to be happy

Alone in my world, with no one to love me

Very much depressed, i started crying

Endured all pain, though you left me bleeding;

Nevermind, dear, for you i wont be dying

Though I'm in pain, it'll be easy forgetting

Every promise you made and all those lame actings,

Let the facts sink in, we have no happy ending.

Baby, where's your 'I love you' now?
