Chapter 13

* Evaline *

             Instantly, my heart started pounding and I was scared. Fear coursed though my veins and before I could scream the persons hand covered my mouth. I didn't see their face but from the roughness and feel of the persons hand I knew it was a guy.

With all my might I brought my elbow back and attempted to kick and fight my way out of the situation. Biting down hard on the persons hand, "oh I've got myself a fighter." The man whispered creepily and I felt something sharp up to my ear. Like a blade or two.

Fangs. This was a vampire.

I screamed and fought as much as I could and that's when I felt it. His fangs sunk into my neck with no hesitation at all. I growled desperately wanting his fangs out, fighting and fighting, but with no avail.

It was when I felt my self slipping into darkness, the pain left my neck along with his fangs. I fell back flat on the floor and looked up at my attacker. Feeling so weak I could barely see anymore. The darkness threatening to take me and for me to black out. Refusing to give in to my weak state, I growled and jumped up to my feet.

My attacker was just about to leave when I shakily walked over and grabbed him by the shirt. "Listen here, Asshole." I growled feeling so angry. Yanking him back with a lot of surprising strength. He turned and faced me, then I kicked him where the sun don't shine. Every males weakness. "Do you know who I am? Do you know who my father is?" The guy shook his head and then tackled me back to the ground.

"Listen here, bitch. I'm just doing my fucking job." He growled and then I felt cold metal to my neck. A knife. But it stung. Could it be? Fuck. I knew exactly what it was. Wolfspane. A poison to werewolfs, which is sometimes deadly.

"Please don't do this.." I squealed weak once again. "I'll pay you double whatever you are getting paid." But he didn't budge. The metal with the poison started to penetrate my skin. I kept begging, pleading and bribing but he didn't move.

He was going to kill me.

Today was my last.

Goodbye daddy. I love you. I get to be with mom and meet her.

Goodbye Michael you dork. I love you a lot.

Goodbye Rebeccah I love you.

Goodbye uncle tris-

Darkness took over me, I was to weak to fight it this time. I finally lost.

* Trevor *

Something's wrong I could feel it. I got out of class and went straight to my dad's office. "Dad something's wrong." I said interrupting him from his work. He looked up and raised his eyebrows.

"Like what son?" He asked giving me his full attention.

"I don't know but I feel it you have to help me figure it out. I think someone's in trouble. Maybe from the pack?" I tell him in which he gets up. We start searching the school for the trouble.

Then we entered the ladies bathroom. Where we saw Evaline on the floor blood everywhere. "Oh god..." I gasped running in and checking for palse. It was faint but it was there. My dad ran to get our pack doctor and I tried giving her CPR.

A few minutes later my dad returned with our pack doctor. She was rushed to our pack hospital and fast, Because we needed to get the wolfspane out of her system before it was to late.

I examined her body as we rushed her to the hospital. Then I noticed something, there, on her neck were what looked like fang marks. "Dad look." The dang mark were definitely there.

A few quick minutes later we were at the pack hospital. Evaline was rushed to emergency and my dad made me stay in the waiting area. I paced and waited anxiously for him to come back and tell me everything was okay.

"Where the hell is she?!?" A familiar voice boomed making everyone in the hospital, even me, jump. I turned to see Xavier who stormed past me and right for the emergency trama room. Stupidly I followed him and we bath ended up where she was.

"Charge again..  Come on! Hurry!" Sam, our favorite pack doctor, yelled at another. I watched in horror as they tried to jump start her heart again with the paddles. "Still no pulse! Again!" Sam yelled. The words went completely over my head, time felt as if it had slowed.

Xavier dropped to his knees and started.... Balling his eyes out. Sam was running around frantically trying everything he could. I was crying. Even though I just met Evaline more recently I'm already really attached to her. It's hard not to, she's very unique in ways of her own.

I don't understand why anyone would want to harm her. She's a sweet girl, and she has a good heart from what I have gathered so far.

They keep trying to get her heart going again as I cry and watch completely mortified.

No.... No... No!

This cannot happen, this cannot be happening. This is a dream. I'm going to wake up and go to school and see her perfectly okay. "Wake up, Trevor." I told myself doing everything in my power to wake me from this nightmare.

"This isn't real! This isn't happening!" I told myself as I tried to awake from this haunting nightmare.

But nothing. I was completely trapped inside this nightmare which sticked.

My stomach completely dropped as the world kept moving, things kept happening, and I didn't wake up.

This wasn't a dream.

My breathing hitched as everything hit me like a ton of bricks.

She was dying.

She would never get to experience love or finding her mate.

She would get to shift, or walk down the isle at her wedding with Xavier.

And if she dies. Xavier will either break and die or break and go more insane.

"No...." I whispered crying helplessly as there was nothing I could do. Xavier was now over yelling at Sam and going crazy. Yelling at them to save his daughter.

I moved and sat on the floor more near her praying to the moon goddess to save her precious life.

Then......

Her heart beat came back.

Hello my lovely readers, sorry for the long wait, I have good news though. I'm going to try update every Friday and or Saturday. Basically I'll be updating every weekend. This ones a day early but yeah, school started again which means I'll most likely be more organized on my updating.
