10 year old Raven's P.O.V

"Mom I'm serious you can tell me, why can't I have a sibling?" I'm so tired of not knowing why I can't have a sibling, I'm ten and still don't know why, I'll get her to tell me, today!
" *sigh* Okay Raven look, remember when I had that surgery?" I nodded, I was so worried, how could I have forgotten.
"Well when I had that surgery I had my uterus taken out which is where the baby forms so without it I can't have a child." As my mother spoke her eyes glazed over and she shed a few tears, I immediately felt really bad so I embraced her in a great big hug.
"Momma it's okay, thank you for telling me, I'm not mad, it was your choice and you did what you thought was right." I spoke softly and as gently as I could but the truth was I was so upset about it, I felt her slightly smile as if she had an idea come to her head, but I didn't ask her about it, I didn't want her to get more upset.
