"What?!!" That was all that had came out of my mouth when my mom told me we were moving to a ranch east of Dallas tx... I was beyond pissed I mean I'm glad its bigger and we can have more horses and I get a new 4-wheeler cause Emma broke mine the day before she left, she had wrecked it in a ditch I don't how she did it but she did. "You heard me we are leaving first thing Monday so start packing!" My mom yelled back. Shit today is Friday... I hurried and called Jake.
J- hey baby what's up
A- 'I was already crying' nnnn nothing
J- don't say that why are you crying I'm coming over right now
A- ok I love you
J- I love you to baby
I hung up and texted Shelby to get over here soon. 2 minutes later they were sitting in my room surrounded by the boxes that had been shoved in here. "So why am I here" Shelby asked. " because I uh I am moving" I replied "no you can't you just can't things are getting so good and schools about to start." Jake said. " I know and I'm sorry I leave Monday morning for a ranch north of Houston. It's bigger than this place here." I said. "Ok well I need to go." Shelby said "bye" both me and jake said in unison. "So are you ok with all of this. I don't want you to leave me. I want to be with you. Are we going to work out. Will we have to break up. Baby I couldn't handle that I love you too much."
"I love you to babe and no Im not. I want to stay with you... And I don't know what's going to happen. We can make this work. I love you to much too let you go."
"Ok."
We just sat there for a while talking about random things till about 10 at night then he decided he wanted to stay the night with me. So he did. I fell asleep in his arms whispering "I love you" I didn't hear a reply I fell asleep to fast. The next morning I woke up in his arms. I felt safe and happy like nothing could tear us apart. Then my mom walks in and starts yelling. " get your shit together we are leaving in a day pack it today and be ready tomorrow to get you horses loaded oh and tell your friend or boyfriend or whatever we need a ranch hand up there.!" "Yes ma'am." Jake woke up when she slammed the door. " what was that about?" "Do you want to stay with me forever?" " yes of course I do." " ok we need a ranch hand to work for us at the new ranch would you be able to take the job.?" " yes I will go tell my parents they won't care they never do." Jake left to go pack and quit working at Shelby's and she also told me she won't be my friend anymore.... Which by the way I don't care I didn't like her anyways. I went outside and grabbed all of my wraps and saddle blankets and over reach and bell boots. And stuck them in a box then grabbed another box and put all my bridles and brushes in. I grabbed my saddles and loaded them in my truck bed well the ones that won't fit in the trailer tack room. I grabbed all my halters and leads except 3 for my horses and put all my feed and square bales in the front of the trailer and then I loaded my tack trunk that had old unused stuff. I grabbed all of my stuff from the tack room and shoved it in my Chevy's back seat. I went ahead and hooked up to my trailer. I backed it into the barn so I could easily load my horses Monday I still had a lot of stuff to put in there. I grabbed all the wood shaving for my stalls and my ribbons and buckles and shoved them in the trailer and truck.
*6 hours later*
I finally had all my shoot together and ready to leave. I had put boxes in my truck bed and back seat. My parents were taking my bed and dresser the stuff that wouldn't fit. Jake had come by and dropped off a horse a Lil while ago and told me to go check him out that he had just got him and was planning to surprise me the first day of school. He told me it was his new roping horse. I walked out to the barn and up to his stall, there stood a giant 16hh palomino gelding. I just stood there in awe of his beauty, I grabbed a halter and lead, I slipped the halter on and walked him out of the stall so I could lunge him to get to know him and the way he moves. I walked him out to the round pen and started lunging him, he was so graceful and easy going. He was a great listener. I decided I would tack him up and ride him around the arena to get a good feel of him. I ran to my truck grabbed my saddle and a blanket threw it all up on him, cinched it all up then I went and grabbed his bridal. I put my hand over his head between his ears holding the top of the bridle and he took the bit with ease. I walked him over to the arena and jumped on. He stood there like it was nothing. I kicked him into a walk for a couple laps then walked to other way a couple times then I asked him to trot, it was the easiest trot I have ever rode well other than lightning's sitting trot. I took him the other way then asked him to canter. He went into a collected canter and then he was all warmed up. I took him to the back of the arena and full out sprinted him to the top and he did a sliding stop. I turned him around and loped him in a circle then I slow loped him to the roping box and had my ranch hand send a cow through. I had my rope on my saddle so I grabbed it and got ready. I nodded my head and the calf went flying across the arena. But I fought up to him swung my rope and snagged him. I stopped and looked at the clock and it read 5 seconds.. I was pretty happy cause this was the first time I have been on this horse let alone roped off of him. He is pretty great. I grabbed my phone and called jake.
A-babe this horse is awesome!
J- babe I know that's why I got him
A- ya well I happen to be sitting on him right now.
J- I figured you would be on him how did he do for you?
A- ran a 5 second. Good for our first time together.
J- ya he's only 4 and I can't say I've seen a horse like him before.
A- so are you ready to leave monday?
J- ya I'm ready I'm coming by today with my trailer and all packed I'm staying the night if that's ok.
A- that's fine I'm ready to go.

*Monday mornin*
"I don't want to tell you again get your ass out of this house and loading those horses!" My mom yelled at me while I ate.
"Yes ma'am."
"Alright load up and head out its gonna be a long haul.
"Ok"
My mom left the room and I turn to jake and look at him. He walks over to me and kisses my forehead and hugs me. "Are you ready for this.?"
" I guess let's go load the horses sand leave."
"Ok do you mind hauling my horse my trailer is packed with stuff.?"
"Ya I have room to one more."
*2hours later*
We hit the interstate and followed it here now we are stopped at a gas station because I needed to pee. I jumped out and walked over to Jakes truck he was sitting there with is window rolled down and ear buds in. So I decided to jump in the passenger seat. I walked around the back of his truck opened the door. He still hasn't noticed me. I shut the door and kissed his cheek. He turned and kissed me back but on the lips. He pulled his ear buds out and said "so how much farther do we have?"
"Ummm... I think about 5 more hours..want to get the horses out and let them stretch I know the geldings might have to pee...." "Sure." we jumped out of his truck walking over to my trailer to see a little girl and her mom I'm guessing standing by looking at them. I walked over to them and asked the mom if it was ok if her daughter got on one of the horses. She said it was ok and her daughter would love it. I kneeled down looking at the little girl. " hey would you like to get on my horse he loves little kids?" " would I. I love horses I would love to. Thank you so much!". I grabbed Jakes horse backed him out then I back lightning out and jake took them I then grabbed flash and walked him over to the little girl. I grabbed her and tossed her on him. " ok now squeeze your legs and hold on the his hair right there." She grabbed a bundle of mane and I started walking him around she sat there like shed don't it her whole life.
*5hours later.*
We finally pulled into the each and I was amazed it was nice and awesome I love it!

An:so you guys I have a new barrel prospect and I have a show goat so that's why I haven't updated ... I'm going to try and update more but I don't know what will happen when school starts but thanks for reading..  also changing blue jeans name to browning
