You woke up in your white bed surrounded by white walls wherein white clothes. How is this suppose the help the insane if this is driving you insane. Everything is so bland nothing ever happened here except for the occasional suicide. You pressed the small button on the side of the door, "Hello Mrs. Dunwick what can I help you with?"
"Can I get out to say goodbye to my friends?" You begged the lady over the phone.
"You know you are only leaving for a weekend." The lady tried to convince you against your decision.
"Yes, yes I know but I just want to talk to them before I have to leave." You were leaving today, for the weekend to spend time with your family. Ah your family, you haven't seen them in a month at least.
"Oh fine." The lady mumbled then you heard a faint click before your door unlocked. You ran through the halls stopping at room number 114, Danny's room. You knocked on the door and you heard him buzz in to get it unlocked. Then it clicked and he opened the door. Danny had black hair with dark brown eyes, a couple tattoos and one ear piercing.
"Danny!" You hugged him he hugged you back then you let go sitting on his bed, him next to you.
"Can you do me a favor Harley?" Danny asked.
"Anything." You nodded quickly thinking of all the things he's done for you..
"Stay away from me when we get out of this place, for the weekend don't contact me, don't even look at me after we step out of these doors." He said.
"But my family is crazy what am I suppose to do? Don't you have a phone we can just talk."
"Harley love your family, they do a lot for you. They love you, I don't have people like that I'm going to visit my family, but they don't care about me. Don't look at me once we step out of those doors please." He begged you. You have never seen him like this, worried and vulnerable. He was always so calm.
"Fine." You mumbled looking at the ground.
"Thank you Har." He smiled. "What did you come down here for." He looked at your eyes.
"To talk." You looked up.
"What about?"
"I don't know anything and everything." You shrugged you thought of all the things you've told him yet he hasn't told you anything about his life. "Do you want to tell me anything?"
"Um not really." He looked away.
"I've been thinking you know a lot about me and I know nothing about you." You mumbled scared of his reaction.
"What do you want to know?"
"Why did you come here?" You started with.
"I can't tell you, I'm sorry anything else?"
"What's your full name?"
"I can't tell you." He mumbled.
"Why not?"
"Because I can't, my first name is Danny that's it you need to know." He snapped.
"Okay well so much for that, I'm going to pack."
"Bye." He got up hugging you like it was the last time you would see him.
"It's only one weekend." You hugged him back tightly.
"Yea." He mumbled. Then you two broke the hug he closed the door as you walked back to your room. You walked into the empty bland room and sighed. You packed the few things you had and walked out. You shut the door to your now empty room and walked to the front. You filed through two metal detectors and an X-ray machine. Then they let you out the front, you stood by the curb looking for your parents car. They weren't here yet. Then a red sports car pulled up with a pretty girl with curly blonde hair, blue eyes and dark red lipstick on. She looked around frantically then locked eyes with you.
"Darling." She called out to you, "Over here." She called for you to come near. You walked up to her, "Have you see a guy named Danny, tall handsome, dark brown hair brown eyes." She explained him.
"He's on his way out I think." You said.
"So how did you know Danny?" She tried to make conversation. You looked up front sh window looking for your parents who still weren't here.
"I met him here, we are really close." You mumbled.
"I'm Stella Darling." She held out her hand daintily.
"Harley." You took her hand and shook it. Then you heard a voice.
"Harley don't talk to her." Danny said from the front door. You turned looking at him as he ran towards the car.
"Danny darling, I just met Harley, such a sweet girl is she the one you always talk about she must be. Now tell me does she know why your in here?"
"Stella don't do this." Danny mumbled.
"Does she know darling?"
"No." Danny opened the back seat.
"You see darling Danny here has killed I think 23 people now and he got caught on number 24, who survived sadly. I lied and pleaded he was insane so they sent him here and not jail." Stella informed you, your eyes widened 23 people.
"Why did he kill so many?"
"Because that's what we do darling." She smiled and you turned to look at Danny he mouthed I'm sorry just as a baseball bat collided with your skull. Everything went blurry, you could see but couldn't move. Danny grabbed you dragging you into the car he rested your head on his lap and he pet your hair. Then Stella drove off.
"Okay, so I was thinking this girl could maybe loosen up Chandler." Stella said from the front.
Danny stifled a laugh, "He hasn't changed that much from when I left, no one can loosen him up."
"Oh come on he would love a girl though." Stella laughed.
"Yea to kill." Danny looked down at you. "Can she just not meet Chandler for the first day."
"But the only reason she is with us is for him." Stella begged.
"Come on Stella she has never killed a person in her life and Chandler has killed 49. He's going to scare her."
49 kills, is that even possible, is this real?
"Well I can't keep her away from him, but you can try to I guess. I'm not helping." She turned to look at Danny, "Don't protect her she had to learn something one way or another." Then she focused back on the road.
He turned his attention towards you, "I'm so sorry Harley." He coed. Then everything went fully black.
Was it all just a dream?
