Well, Today! I woke up pretty late. It was about past 7am but i felt it was late cause i usually wake up when the sky is still dim. Dont let me bore you.

So yes! Today was the first day of my GCE NECO exam and it started with practical biology. I was only taking the NECO exam for one subject but i had to write 8 other subjects along side.. how strenuous!

So i said my prayers that morning after reading my devotional. I was on a fast and i was wondering if i should break the fast or not cause i didnt want to write my exam on an empty stomach and breakfast smelled so good. After quite some debating, i decided to ask God for forgiveness (for) breaking the fast. Yeah! i ate!! and ate like never before!!

My exam was to start by 2pm anyways so i read the little boring text book, then prayed and dedicated my exam over to God.

You know, I'm a born again Christian, for real, just received Christ as my personal(Person) Lord and savior and trust me, its soo worth it.

Okay back to the matter, since my exam wasn't until 2'oclock, i began frolicking about the house just to kill time.

Everyone went out and i was all alone, singing and enjoying the sound of my own voice. You know as they say; "if no one claps for you, then you gotta clap for yourself"

How lucky i was, just a couple of hours before my exam was due to start, after so many hours of darkness, NEPA finally decided to give us light.

How happy my soul was! Finally! LIGHT!!!

Then i heated up some water and took my bath.

MMMMmmm!! How good i must've smelled after-bathe with my Shea Butter cream and sure.

I put on my black skirt and top and combed my hair. Oh! i really did look like a house girl or a deeper life girl.

Short black kinky hair, no earing, no make up, skirt, slippers but i dint really care how i looked cause my exam centre was located at calabar south and no one was going to pay attention to me anyways.. so i thought.

I left my house with my mini cross bag hanging on my shoulder.

First I went to make a photocopy of my exam document, after that I stopped a keke (tricycle)

"Mbukpa by Apostolic Faith" i said when he stopped and he beckoned at me to enter.

Unknown to me, this man didn't even know where it was and so he almost took me to another place as i wasn't so familiar with the area too, only for another passenger to save us and he told us we were going the wrong way. Bless his soul Lord.

On getting to my supposed exam center, i was shocked to see a notice on the wall just right infront of the school saying that the exam venue had been relocated to another center.

Oh! why me!?

Ehh whyy mee!??

but i came here yesterday na and i dint even see the notice!

Luckily for me, someone else who was in my 'supposed' centre was just as lost as i was so we went to look for our new center together, all the way from Calabar South to Parliamentary, wow!! what a long journey to an exam which was about to start in less than 5mins time.

But the goodnews was that non of us really needed biology, thank Goodness and God!

But to my greatest regret, i had just #75 left on me and i needed #100 to get to my new center. Not to worry, the girl whom i went together with paid the rest for me.

Bless her soul too Lord…
