Y/N POV

"Hey everyone wake up we are going to have a very special guest today" Lanai says. Lanai owns the orphanage and she is nice but, I hate it here. I keep on having these flashbacks and they're terrifying. I take a shower and put on my clothes (the pic above). "Everyone ready?" Lanai says. Then the bell rings and Lanai runs off to the door.

Y/N POV

I was my turn to talk to the people who I might be apart their family. And I see Lord Garte with his wife Dianna and their sons, Garroth, Zane, and Vylad. "Lord Garte, here is Y/N and can you introduce yourself, Y/N" Lanai said to me. "Hi Lord Garte, my name is Y/N and I love dragons" I say shyly.

Lord Garte's POV

This girl is special I can tell but, she's hiding something from us. "So Y/N, what's else are you interested in?". While the conversation kept on going, she kept on looking down to the floor which was odd but, I barely met this child. I don't know what she's been through. While she walked away and kept going on down the list.

Y/N POV

Lanai took me on into a room and she said " Y/N, Lord Garte and his family want to adopt you, do you want to be adopted by them?". I was shocked that someone as high as him would adopt me. "Um, sure I'm fine with that" I say. "Okay go pack your stuff and go in front of the orphanage," Lanai says. I go to my room and pack my stuff, I see my box and stuff it at the bottom of my suitcase. Then I go outside and there is a horse carriage so I go in and I guess my new life begins today.
