My life changed on the first day of high school. Why? The usual...a boy. Don't get me wrong, I don't fall hard to easily, so when I'm drawn to you it's more than an attraction. But, with him it was like no other feeling I had ever felt before. I know, cliché, but if you were in my shoes, you'd probably understand what I'm talking about. I highly doubt you ever will because he wasn't from around here. No, he was not an alien, but not too far from the tree, if you ask me. He's from centuries ago but he looks like a regular teenager. Boy, was I wrong.

I arrived at Garret Senior High with a positive attitude. I was already crushing on my middle school crush Christian Michelson. He had a girlfriend, get this, his girlfriend was not only Priscilla Welsh, but she's also my best friend, since kindergarten. Has she always known I had a crush on Christian? Yes, but that hasn't stopped her from dating him. Great best friend huh? Tell me about it.

"Charm, hey!" Kristen said.

"Hey Kristen, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm great. Glad to finally be in high school huh?"

"Um...it's alright."

"You'll love it here. You may run into some pretty bad situations, but I promise you you'll leave here wanting to come back, because you made so many great memories, great friends that you'll never forget."

"Thanks for the info. Catch you later?"

"Yeah sure. If you see Jaden, tell him I'm looking for him."

"Yeah. You got it!"

Kristen walked away, like she was hiding this huge secret. Jaden is my big brother and he's dating Kristen. But, they have this break up, make up relationship going on. Right now, they're on break. But, I have a feeling they won't be making up anytime soon, because Jaden was fooling around during the summer with a pretty brunette with green eyes named Dana.

"Charm!" A familiar voice shouted.

I turned around, and there was Dylan, my other best friend. He ran to me and picked me up. I laughed and hugged him tightly. Listen, there's always that question "Can girls and guys really be best friends?" The answer is yes! If you've seen the show One Tree Hill, one of my favorite shows in the world, even though I wasn't born around that time, I still managed to find it while I was watching other shows, and then I fell in love with it. The two best friends Haley and Luke are so close and there was never a romantic moment with them. She ended up falling for his half-brother Nathan, who appeared obnoxious and careless, and Ethan ended up with Peyton, Nathan's ex-girlfriend, who appeared as this mysterious dark person inside, but was this popular cheerleader in everyone's eyes. So, you should check it out!

Dylan's and I's relationship is exactly like Haley and Luke's. There will never be any romance between us.

"I missed you!" Dylan said.

"I missed you too!" I said.

Dylan put me down, and was eager to tell me something.

"I lost my virginity this summer." He said.

"To who?" I asked.

"Can't say. She won't let me tell anyone yet."

"Well, promise me when she does I'll be the first one you tell."

"Of course."

"Do you know if you were you safe?"

"I'm pretty sure I used this rubber invention called a condom." He laughed.

We walked to our class. We had the same 1st period, and I was so relieved. As I sat in the seat next to Dylan, talking, not looking where I was going, someone was already sitting in the seat.
