"Today of all days! Honestly!?," you yelled into the phone pissed that your friend would make plans today, the day you were supposed to visit your brother, to go on a date with her boyfriend. "Haha, sorry (Y/N), I've just been really looking forward to this date and I really wanna go! Can you please take my shift? I'll pay for your Chinese takeout?" Despite feeling betrayed by your friend, the thought of not having to pay for your takeout sounded really tempting. "Fine, but I'm ordering double." She laughed, "Okay, bye! Wish me luck!" Responding with a 'Whatever' you hung up on the call and put your phone back to your pocket. Just as you placed your phone in your pocket it began to ring again. Letting out a groan you picked up the phone. It was the hospital.
