I was left there. He left me in a cold, dark, agonizing alley. He treated me like I was his slave. If I said a word to anyone, he would do it again, and I can't go through it, again. It took all of my strength not to say a word, knowing I was going home to face him. Knowing he'd be there, waiting for me, ready with new ideas, a new hell every time. It gets harder and harder to hide my bruises and scars. Some scars are from him, but not all. The rest are from........

Walking up my front lawn from school not knowing what to expect of him, surprisingly he was sitting on my front step, usually he waits inside (my parents aren't home when he is there).

"H-hi, w-what are y-you doing outside?" I managed to mutter. Usually he slaps me after I get two words out.

"We are going to play a game. I will give you ten minutes to get away from me, starting at 8:24pm. Once the ten minutes are up, I come find you. If you are found within an hour....."

"Y-you, do it again?" I muttered.

"No, no this time I'll make it worse. I will record it, then upload it with my face blurred out to every piece of social media out there, so all your little friends can see it."

My eyes filled with tears immediately although I did not allow them to shed. After very quickly swiping away my few tears, I manage to ask.

"W-what happens I-if I do not want to play?"

"Same thing that happens if I catch you my lovely. Keep in mind, if your are not found and caught after the hour is up, you are free from me."

"F-forever?"

"Yes princess, forever."

As a few more hours went by, I began getting anxiety and it only got worse as the time came closer and closer to 8:24pm. I mean, where would I go to be safe from him. He knows all of my friends, family, hiding places. I've tried running before, and that just ended with him.............

(Sorry about this being a short chapter, the others will be longer.)
