Broken and alone

Ch 6

About three weeks had passed since my mom put me on the one day a meal diet. But after my mom called me a fat ass that day it was like all i could see was the fat on my body. So some days i went without eating anything at all.

And because of that just in these four weeks i had lost about seven pounds. But i cant stop thinking about how i just wanna lose more. I just want people to like me for once. Im done being an outcast and being treated like a piece of trash at school.

At about 6:40am I got up and got dressed for school. By 7:00am i was out the door and on my way. When i got to school i went to my locker and got all my books for the day. Once i had all the stuff i needed i started walking  to my first class when i ran smack into someone.

Oh no, I thought.I'm really in for it now. Good job Rose you'll never hear the end of it after this is over . But when i looked up at the person it wasn't anybody i knew from here. It was a boy ive never even seen in this town before.

Oh,he must be new I thought . I did slightly remember something about a teacher mentioning a new student coming today. But i must have been too zoned out to really pay attention. I then realized i forgot all about the boy and looked up at him.

"Im so sorry" I apologized. Now that i got a good look at him I noticed he was kind of attractive. He had wind blown style dirty blond hair and green eyes that you could get lost in.

I got pulled out of my thoughts when i heard his voice." Oh,no its fine. It was my fault.here let me help you up" he offered.

"Thank you" I replied quietly.

When i was finally off the ground and on my feet i saw two girls walking by and looking at me. They were whispering but as they were passing by i got a part of there conversation and it made me want to cry.

" what a slut" i heard one of the girls say.

"I know right,but shes just an attention whore  and everyone knows it so i don't think we have to worry about her taking the hot new guy from us" the other girl replied.

As they were walking away i felt my eyes fill up with tears but remembering that i wasn't alone, i stopped them before the stranger saw anything.

"Im christian but you can call me Chris ,whats your name?" The new boy who was apparently named Chris asked me.

"I..I'm Rose" I replied.

"Rose"he repeated after me. "Thats a very beautiful name,i like it"

I was surprised, no ones ever given me such a nice compliment before so naturally i started blushing. " oh um yeah thank you" i said

"Well Rose I gotta get to class but ill see you around?"he asked me.

"Ummmm... Yeah sure I guess" I answered.

He waved goodbye to me and disappeared around the corner. I cant become friends with him,was the first thing that popped into my head when he was gone. All that will happen is one of us will get hurt or worse. I cant have that, he could find out. No i cant let him find out. Nobody can EVER find out. Who knows what would happen if he did. I thought to myself

I just need to stay away from him. Yeah i mean it cant be that hard he's cute he will end up with the popular crowd eventually and forget all about me. Either that or he'll start teasing me like everyone else. But at least he wouldn't find out. Thats all that matters.

While i was thinking of ways to avoid Chris i ran into someone else. Well aren't i just crashing into everyone today. I had a feeling that this time i wouldn't be as lucky as to run into someone nice like Chris. I course i was about to learn i was right. But It was someone much worse then any normal popular bully.

"I am so sorry" i started apologizing hoping i wouldn't get beaten up by anyone.

"Babydoll?" I heard the person reply.

Oh no " oh great" i replied sarcastically " just the person i wanted to see"

"See i knew you couldn't resist my good looks and charm forever sweetheart" he  replied with cockiness all in his voice.

I made sure he couldn't see my face before i rolled my eyes and started walking.of course he was right beside me because he just couldn't seem to leave me alone.

" To what do i owe the pleasure Mason?" I said. " your obviously bothering me for a reason so what do you want?"

He smirked at me "  After our little conversation in the cafeteria three weeks ago you've been avoiding me like the plague. That hurt my feelings babydoll,it really did" he told me sticking out his bottom lip and pouting like he was a little  two year old. "But come one Rose even you had to know you couldn't avoid me forever" he said

"I can sure try" i said with confidence.

He ignored what i said and started talking again. " ok heres how its gonna work. You and me are gonna hang out after school no buts what so ever from you"

" i cant" i shot back. I quickly tried to come up with a lie. So said the first thing that popped into my head. "I have a lot of homework." Which wasn't totally a lie. I did have a lot of homework but it was all due next week so i had a lot of time to do it. Of course i wasn't about to tell him that.

"Well thats too bad because I'm not taking no for an answer Rose. Ill wait for you after school by my car. See you then babydoll." And he left before i could object.

What was i gonna do? I knew one thing for sure. My mom was totally gonna kick my ass for coming home late today.
