From being a 6 yearold in the backseat hearing 'Tim McGraw' the first time it came on the radio, even if I didn't understand it, to watching Taylor Alison Swift win the Pinnacle Award tonight, on November 6, 2013, she has changed my life. I AM SO PROUD!!!
In between fall, 2006 and tonight, November 6, 2013, Taylor has been changing my life and the lives of millions around the world since her first release. In between, she opened for some of Country music's biggest names, she has gone triple platinum at 18, done a huge headlining tour at 19, won 4 Grammy Awards at 18, gone on a World tour with 98 shows at 21, vizited 100's of Cancer patients, raised millions of dollars for charity, won many other awards, tought us to be FEARLESS and to SPEAK NOW, realeased RED at 22, held a # 1 CD in 50 countries, won best entertainer and much more, been in movies, done duets, wrote Ronan, preformed at Stand up to Cancer 2012, had 75 million downloads and 45 million CD's sold, toured at 23 in America and is about to tour more, released Sweeter Than Fiction, opened an education center, and now, after 7 years of a worldwide impact, Taylor Alison Swift has been awarded the Pinnacle Award. It made me realize how much of an impact she has made and how much she has changed my life. Her story inspires me to never give up. She is here for me when no one else is, and she cares. Swifties are more than fans to Taylor, we are her friends. She is our friend. She cares about us and wants to help. Taylor isn't fake, she is pure and true to us. Her career has been more than her 12 yearold self ever dreamt it would be, it has been much much more. It has had more of an impact on us and gone further than she ever thought possible, and that is spectacular! We are apart of her and she is apart of us, I can't imagine life without her. I would NOT be who I am today without her. She helped me through the hardest times in my life and that is more than anything she ever thought she could do. To me, that is truly amazing!
