Jordan looked both ways before she crossed the street. She walked on the sidewalk the rest of the way to her school.
As she walked in a medium pace, she could hear the honks of cars, and the noise of the oceans whispering waves crashing against the shore.
She glanced over at the beach, that was to her right.
It was crowded with people who came to have relaxation, or some fun.
Jordan personally didn't enjoy the beach because of the many possibilities that she could get injured.
"Hey Jordan!" A voice from behind called out her name.
She knew exactly who it was.
"Yes Owen?" He was now at her side, panting.
Owen was Jordan's little, non-active, brother.
He was only two years younger than her, and was in his freshmen year.He did get bullied a lot back in middle school, which made Jordan feel really bad for him, but she too had gotten bullied at the same age.
Jordan and her brother were really similar to each other. Usually, whatever happened to Jordan, would happen to Owen.
"You forgot me at the house." Owen took deep breaths.
Sometimes Owen could get quite annoying, so she would leave without him.
Jordan put an arm around her brothers neck, and pulled him closer to her. "I know that. Also I'm surprised you ran all the way here!"
Owen took Jordan's arm off his neck as they turned left. "Haha, really funny." He rolled his eyes clockwise.
Jordan soon started to run. "Come on Owen! Let's do some more exercise the rest of the way!"
"No thanks!" Owen called out at her.
Jordan stopped, walked over to Owen, and started to run again, dragging Owen behind her.
Owen had no choice but to run.
They soon made it to their school and stopped running.
Jordan, for some reason, stared at the ocean.
"You are a pain in the butt! You do realize that." Owen told Jordan faintly.
"I realize." Jordan looked over at Owen and smirked. "And do you realize that your one as well?"
Owen scowled. And grumpily walked inside,
taking large steps. Before Jordan went to class, she took a peek at the ocean once more.
There was something about it that wasn't normal. She just didn't know what it was.

Jordan walked out of school with her books in her hands.
She saw someone ahead of her, and ran to them.
Jordan jumped on top of the girl.
