The AfterMath ~ Day 2

Kota woke up to the smell of bacon and burnt toast.
She groggily got up and got dressed and crap.
She went to go to her door when she found a note.
Your hair is red,
And quite frankly ew,
Stay away from my Max,
Or I will kill you.

What?
She threw it away and went out in the hall.
Shelby was going downstairs as she shut the door.
"Hey Shelby!"
She turned her head.
"Hello!"
They raced down the stairs the rest of the way down.
When they got to the bottom they jumped and yelled, "Tada!!!"
Max and Ross looked up from their phones and Adam turned from the oven.
"Lookin Rossume ladies! But Kota, I just noticed."
"Noticed what?"
"We each have our little things that make us, us! Adam has his amulet, I have my horn, Max has his necklace, Shelby has her crown but Kota....... She's got nothing!"
Everyone looked at her.
"You're on to something." Max said.
"I have... Cat ears?"
"Great! Go get them."
She put them on and ran back down.
They looked at her and smiled. Shelby fangirled.
"Eeeee! We're a squad!"
Everyone laughed.
Then they all piled into the car and drove to school.
Everyone there stared as The Squad got out of the car.
But they mostly stared at Dakota,.
Adam was pulled away from their little line by his girlfriend.
Ross walked out because he had a test.
Shelby followed her cousin.
That left Max and Kota.
They walked into the school and was pulled away by a blue blur.
Kota looked over to see Max pushed up against the lockers, lips smothered by Dawn.
Kota just walked to her locker.
Attention students! We are having the Fall Formal tomorrow night from 8-11 . Come on down and dance!
*click*
The dance.
Maybe I could dance with Max.. No. He won't dance with me.
She walked down the hall to see her squad, but no one was there.
Suddenly, someone spun her around by her shoulders
The headset kid!
He grabbed her hand and pushed her against a locker.
"Hey baby. Wanna dance with me? In my mouth..."
She shook her head no, but he kissed her anyway.
It was rough, and uncomfortable.
"Hey!"
The kid turned around hesitantly, and Kota peeked out from behind him.
The Squad!
Adam and Max walked up to the guy, hatred in their eyes. He ran away like a bastard.
Ross came over with Shelby, checking if I was hurt.
Max and Adam soon joined too.
"A-hem."
They turned around to see Dawn.
"Maxy, why are you sooo obsessed with that girl? I mean look at her, glasses, red hair, cat ears? Omigod could you get anymore tacky? And her style? Pfft, may as well just buy it from a hobo and it'd be better."
Max walked up to her.
"Do you think I care? She is the most beautiful, funniest, and most talented girl I've ever met. You? Just a Regina George wannabe."
She was taken back by this, and just stormed off.
Kota was blushing so hard you'd never see her in the tomato section.
"Did you...?"
"Did I mean it? Yes. Do I like you? Yes. See ya at home." And with that he walked off.
For once, she smiled.
She smiled all day long.
Today was a half day, so Shelby and Kota went dress shopping.
They walked into a dress store.
She ran to a white flowing dress with light blue tips, and a goddess headpiece.
Shelby chose a purple dress with gold rhinestones down the sides and the same headpiece.
They came out of the dressing rooms.
"You look... Like a goddess!" They said in unison and laughed.
