Guardian Shifter

Chapter 7

Emi's pov

Arriving at the building I got alittle nervous, but also I was so excited to know, FINALLY know what I was!
I can tell Parkers nervous too. I can feel he's hiding something from me. Oh well, I'll ask him later.

We walked in the giant building, into this room with many older people, also a middle aged couple. They looked very similar to Parker, most likely his parents. We approached them. 
"Hello Emi, my name is Isabel and this is my husband Nick! It's nice to finally meet you honey!" I turned my head towards Parker who had a small blush on his face. He's so cute!

"you're adorable" i said aloud. he blushed even harder. i grabbed his hand, and entirtwined our fingers.

"you two are the cutest things!!" Parkers mother squealed. i looked up at Parker, and smiled. he looked down at me and smiled as well.

"listen, mum, dad we need to talk to you about something." parker addressed.

"what is it son?"

"lets move outback" we walked towards a set of double doors which i assume were for the backyard. we walked out the doors to a deck, the deck was facing a lard field. and behind that field was a set of trees, a small forest if you could say. i stepped off the last step of the deck, but Parker and his parents stood at the top.

"whats a Guardian shifter?" Parker finally broke the silence. his father looked at him like he was trying to remember something.

"a Guardian shifter is a shifter that can shift into many animals. but heres the thing, you rarely see them, and well they protect the Royals, us."

"wait you're apart of the royal family?" i looked up at Parker, surprised.

"you didn't tell her!" Isabel stated!

"all thats happened i didnt want to stress her out! but thats not the point! I'm pretty sure Emi's the Guardian shifter." i thought about it, it could be possible. i can shift into different forms.

"what really?" both isabel and nick looked at me.

"i think so, show them my love" parker smiled at me. i nodded my head.

I didn't really want to shift with my clothes cause they're going to tear but I don't to really get naked in front of parkers parents. So I just shifted with my clothes on.

I could feel my bones twitch from the shift, but as soon as it came it was gone. Like werewolves, my fox and well all my forms are bigger then their average fellow animals. So my fox was 2 times the size for a normal one. I sat in a pouncing position, wagging my tail excited.

Parker chuckled in response of my playful act. I barked. Parker's parents looked at me in awe. Isabel came down off the porch and approached me, she stroked behind my ear. Making me give a happy bark.

"can you shift into something else?" I barked once more

I reared stretching my legs. Shaking my neck back and forth to get more comfortable. Isabel giggled like a little girl send grabbed my antlers. I shifted again this time I shifted into my horse. I did the same thing, I shook my neck to move my mane. i shifted once again (getting a little tired), with isabel on my back i shifted into my redish dark brown. I sat down and howled. the cry echoed in the air. it was my happy, content howl. parker came over to me and gave me one of his tshirts.

"shift back love don't push yourself anymore " i went behind the nearest tree and shifted back sliding parkers t shirt on. the shirt was long enough to cover everything, it rested on the middle of my thigh, even alittle past. the benefits of having a mate with huge muscles, and is also 6'1 and your 5'4. damn him.

I walked out from behind the tree, Parker was obviously close by. Probably to make sure nothing was going to happen to me. I rolled my eyes when he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers together.

"So, she definitely is the Guardian" Nick continued on about me. About how I was the Guardian sifter. He also explained to me about parker and how they're family was the last known descendants of the royals. Only heard about from stories.. like me. So I listen. And it was clear to me my task now.

"I've never heard of a Guardian and a Royal being mates." An old women came walking up to us. I bowed my head with respect for the elder.

"raise your head child" I looked up, "excuse my attire miss" she brushed me off and smiled.

"since you two are mates, your children will be strong. The next generations will consist of strong royals. Our kingdom will grow, internally and externally." With that she left.

I smiled up at Parker. She said children. I couldn't help the excited grin that came onto my face. And by the looks of it parker had one too.

"we will start training tomorrow. I'll contact the former Guardian and his family to join us for training." Nick said. Me and Parker nodded. "Goodnight" Isabel and Nick smiled and nodded. Parker lead me to the car. He opened the door for me, I slid into the passenger seat. But once Parker started the car and drove off, I got supper sleepy.

"sleep love" I was 3/4s asleep before he said that, but I gladly took the offer.
