It Wasn't His Choice:

Saturday rolled around and Kendall wanted me to be at her place at 8 tonight. My Mom said she was working till 6 but then she would be home. I had already given Jaxon and Maya dinner and they were playing in the living room in their PJ's. I go downstairs and got on my nice dark colored skinny jeans and a cute light denim button up shirt that I think Was Luke's at some point in time.

I matched it with a red infinity scarf and my only pair of boots which were a light brown color with laces that I kept unlaced. I tied my hair up into a slightly messy bun and wore some studded pearl earrings. I checked myself in my stand up mirror that was attached to my door and nodded.

Tonight is going to be so much fun!! My phone buzzes from my back pocket as I go up the stairs. I check it and it was a text from Kendall.

KENDALL BABYYYY : Hey! When U coming??

I checked the clock in the kitchen and it was 7:45. Mom still wasn't home.

Me: Any minute, My Mom is just running late.

KENDALL BABYYYY : Okay!!! :D I can't wait!!!

I put my phone back into m pocket and put Jaxon and Maya to bed. After they were fast asleep in their bedrooms I sat down on the couch, waiting for my mom to get home.

Four hours later and it was midnight. I had fallen asleep on the couch over a dozen times, Mom is still not home yet. I look at my phone and notice i had gotten a few texts from Luke ever an hour ago.

9:15 - Lucas mah boyyy: Where are you? :(

10:43 - Lucas mah boyyy: Did your mum bail on you?

10:58 - Lucas mah boyyy: Text me when your mum gets home.

11: 24 - Lucas mah boyyy: The party is over, Call me when you get a chance?

12:15 - Lucas mah boyyy: I think you fell asleep, I'm coming over.

The last one was sent only a few minutes ago, So when I heard the door open I knew it was Luke. I took my shoes off and laid down on the couch. Luke came in and saw me. "Aw, Auddie. I'm sorry." He sat on the ground and took my hand.

"She promised me." I mumble to him. I didn't think she would break a promise, but I should have known she wouldn't have listened. She doesn't care, she never will again.

"Come on lets get you to bed." Luke whispers. He picks me up bridal style and carries me into my room and lays me on my bed. I begin to cry when the sudden realization that this was my life now had hit me like a ton of bricks. "Oh, babe please don't cry." Luke whispers. He took my scarf off and helped me with my earrings.

He laid down next to me and pulled me close to his chest, letting me cry. he gently took my hair out of it's bun and ran his fingers through my hair. I put my ear to Luke's chest and listened to his heartbeat. We stayed like this for a long time until suddenly the front door was being slammed shut. Luke and I jumped  at the sound.

"Please stay the night? I feel like I'll go scream at her and that'll only end bad." I mumble to him. "Yeah I'll stay." he whispers, kissing the top of my head.

The next morning I was still in Luke's arms. I decided to go make some breakfast for Maya, Him and I Because god knows when my mother will actually be up. I untangled myself from Luke and check my reflection before going up into the kitchen. I froze dead in my tracks.

There was a middle aged man in my kitchen in only his boxers. He itched his...Privates and took a banana. When he turned around he finally saw me, He began to laugh, "You know, You looked a lot older last night when we were drunk!" He busted out laughing. I didn't see anything humorous about this, What could be so funny?
