Chapter Seven

I watched her as she left to go to lunch. I knew I was an ass to her in the morning, but I couldn't help it. Teasing her is just too easy and way too much fun. What the hell am I doing?

Did I not swear to stay away from her, I've always kept my walls up and nothing or rather no one will EVER change that. So for the last time I say this, from this moment on, she is just my secretary and she means absolutely nothing to me.

When she finally came from lunch, I called her into my office. When she came I told her about the meeting that was being held and that I wanted her to take notes of all the ideas there. I didn't want to miss on anything not the tiniest of details, this client is new and very important to the company and I want to show him that we are indeed the best.

I sat there in the meeting room trying to squeeze my brain for good and creative ideas, we came up with quite a bit. My are great, every single one of them. I looked to my left and saw Elizabeth writing down on a note pad. She was fast and didn't pause for one second. Good.

Like I said I didn't want to miss out on the tiniest of details, I already told her that I expected these notes by tomorrow morning that way I can go over them before tomorrow's meeting.

After about two hours I was tired and had started to develop some mean headache I can tell my team felt the same way. They were a bit silent and some had started rubbing their heads, so I called the meeting off. Work was over in about 15 minutes so what was the point of elongating the meeting?

I walked to my office and Elizabeth was on my heels, she stopped at her desk and grabbed her stuff then came and said goodbye, I reminded her that I needed the notes tomorrow morning and she said that she was going to work on them at home and bring them to me tomorrow typed.

I was pleased with the day, we did accomplish a lot, and it looked like Elizabeth is a hard worker which suits me just fine.
