I sighed before dragging my feet to Daryls tent, the tent flap was halfway open so I stepped inside and cleared my throat. Daryl sat in the middle of the tent messing with his crossbow that almost resembled mine, but mine had my name on the bottom of it and my arrows were blue at the ends.
"Ya?" His southern accent asked boredly like I really wasn't worth his time.
"There's no where else to sleep."
Daryl glared up at me and rolled his eyes, "And?"
"They told me to come in here." I said slowly feeling unwanted and awkward around the redneck.
"I ain't sharin a tent with some chick who just got here." He rumbled standing up and storming out of the tent. That's just great, I internally sighed grabbing my bag from the floor and walking back out. I watched Daryls face turn red as he argued with Shane over my sleeping arrangement.
"Then Merle can sleep with you and Sam can have your tent!" I heard Shane say from across the camp.
Was it really this difficult for us to share? I don't bite.
"Merle has night terrors can't sleep with nobody!"
At this point I had enough, I tossed my bag to the side and stomped up to the two men.
"I can sleep outside." I said from behind Daryl making him turn around. Daryl ran a hand threw his already messy hair and sighed.
"Nah, the geeks will get ya in the night. You can sleep with me, but no cuddling or shit." Cuddling? As if.
"I'm not the cuddling type." I muttered before walking away to grab my stuff and throw it back in his tent. That was way to much drama over a freaking tent. Daryl stomped off into the woods with nothing but his crossbow.
"You had your first run in with a Dixon brother. What do you think?" Shane asked me as he walked up next to me.
"About what?"
"Daryl Dixon."
"He seems fine." I shrugged glancing toward the woods.
"By fine you mean anti social, rude, and hick. Right?"
"Where is he going?" I asked avoiding Shanes remark.
"Hunting. His brother Merle is out hunting to, you'll meet him soon enough. Then you'll wish you hadn't."
"So I've heard." He must have sensed my annoyance at the fact that he's the second person to tell me something like that.
"You'll see." Shane shrugged then left me to stand alone and look out into the woods where Daryl had run off too.
What is with these Dixon boys and everyone disliking them?

"Alright ya city slickers, here's yer supper. No need to thank me." A tall and muscular man threw the squirrels he killed at Carol and Lori who in return rolled their eyes.
"Oh my. Who's this little thing?" The man walked up to me while I sat on a log sharpening my knife.
"Hey sweet tits, what's your name?" His thick southern accent made me assume that this was Daryls brother Merle.
"Sam." I said bluntly, avoiding his gaze and continuing what I was doing.
"Don't be short with me women." He hissed pulled me up by my arm. I stared into his cold blue eyes, there was a certain darkness there that I couldn't yet place. So this is why everyone warned me about Merle Dixon the most.
