The first stage

Nastu P.O.V

It was late when I was home. I suddenly had this urge to go see Lucy. I know dragon season is approaching dangerously. Igneel said it happened every hundred years and it would happen in my life time. He said dragon slayers mating season is a bit different than the dragons themself but basically you just constantly want to be with your mate.
I was shocked when I realised that my mate was Lucy. However I try my best to act normal around her. And right now I want to see her.

It was late when I started leaving my house to go to Lucy's. Happy was sleeping so it was easy to sneak out of the house.
I entered Lucy's place with the window like I normally did and was ready to get chased out...
Nothing.
I look down to see Lucy sleeping soundly.
This dragon season will kill me...
Everything about her feel so right. Her look, her voice, her scent...
I bring my face closer to her neck. I could smell her sweet vanilla sent and it was hypnotizing.
I couldn't control myself. My fang grew longer and I bit her neck.
Realizing what I was doing I quickly remove my fangs but instead of a bit mark was a small spiral as red as my magic.
Processing all that happened I decided to go home. This dragon season was creeping me out.

Lucy P.O.V

I woke up feeling a small breeze. I don't remember leaving my window opened.
I close it and decide to do my morning routine.
I let out a scream when I noticed the small spiral on my neck. When did that get there?
I need to go to the guild and ask Levy ASAP!

When I opened the guild doors I noticed something very strange. I didn't know why but the guild hall was very calm.
I didn't have time for this.
I quickly went to sat at Levy's table.
I couldn't believe it she had a small grey spiral at the same place as me.

Me : Hi Levy

Levy : Hey Lu

Me : I have something to ask you.

Levy : Yeh?

Me : How did you get that spiral on your neck ?

As I asked my question I moved my hand on my neck to hide my mark.

Levy : I don't know it was there this morning...

Me : Because I kinda have it to

I said as my remove my hand from my neck.

Levy: What you too!!?

She didn't shout that loud but the guild was so silent and now everyone was looking at us.

Why is the guild so quiet this morning?

I looked around to see the exceeds at the bar talking to Mira. Happy was eating fish.
Erza, Grey and Juvia were calmly sitting at a table...well as calm as Juvia could get.
Why is Grey so calm?

That's when I found my answer.
Natsu was sitting at a table with Wendy beside him and Gajeel in front of him.

Weird...Why are all the dragon slayers sitting together?

The three of them didn't look so good. Wendy was asleep with her face on the table.
Natsu and Gajeel just looked really tired. They were talking to each other.
TALKING!!?
Yes! they were normally talking!
Not screaming insults.
As soon as the guild return to their occupation I continue my conversation with Levy.
