The eternal flame

" we must make it to flugal or the world just might come an end." Said flame. How did I get caught up in all this. If I had never went into that book shop wouldn't even be on this crazy adventure. Thought flame as she was for the 100th time been running for her life and to save the world. " Flame Flame are you even listening we kind of have an a emergency here we have 3 days to get to the forest before Sanard can take over the world that includes our wold." Said Flames little sister who thought she was the best thing since sliced bread. " huh what oh sorry I gusse my mind has been a little busy since we started on this crazy journey.

8 months earlier

" Addy take your sister to soccer practice then out for ice cream then to go shopping." Said Addy's mom Grace.

" But why does Iris get all this stuff and I get is 5$ and a bag of chips. Not to mention that all those cloths and ice cream come out of my own pocket."said 15 year old addy kay.

" Oh it does not. I do not pay attention to your little sister more than you. And I pay for all the ice cream and shopping."

Even though my mom said she paid for all of it she would conveniently forget to pay me back for the thing I had bought for Iris. She also said she never paid more attention to Iris than she did me. This was not true to my mom Iris is a perfect angel and could do no wrong. Me on the other hand did everything wrong no matter how hard I try. " ya Addy mom is right plus I deserve everything mom gives me so there" said Iris as Bratty as she always was. " Fine if I have to."

So we walked to the soccer game ( wich by the way she won) then to the ice cream shop then we went shopping. Shopping was one of my least favorite places to go. Want to why? Because every time I go with Iris witch is every time I have no friends. She is so snotty about it. She can't have this because of this that's not her or it's to little of a price. " ugh Addy do you know any thing about fashion." Said Iris.

" sorry I am just not into this" said Addy

" we'll start getting into this ugh your such a drag some times"

" me you think I'm a drag well how bout you you are so snotty about everything"

" we'll I'm not sheesh you don't have to be so rude about it. "

" that's it try being snotty without any new cloths"

" what do you mean?"

" what I mean is that I'm not buying you any new cloths" said Addy as she walked out of the door and onto the street.

Ugh sometimes I wish I could go on a wonderful adventure like the people in my books. Thought Addy as she walked down mill den lane. Her little sister caching up fast. " I don't want to talk to you right now" said Addy as she walked angrily.

" fine but I'm telling mom and she'll make you come right back down here and buy me new clothes"

" ha fat chance"

All of a sudden Addy saw a flash in the bookstore window. " Did you see that" said Addy walking up to the bookstore window.

" see what gosh sometime you are such an idiot."

The sign read COME INSIDE A ADVENTURE AWAITS YOU! " hey Iris do you see the sign?" Said Addy. All of a sudden when she looked up the sign was different. It now read COME INSIDE A ADVENTURE AWAITS YOU

COME ON FLAME I KNOW YOU WANT TO! I thought it was just a trick so I walked inside just to ask about the sign. I came to the front desk and a man popped out. He was tall had gray hair and wore gray pants with a light blue button up shirt and a name tag that said mr.Clams. " ahhhhh come for an adventure I see." Said mr.Clams as he looked Addy up and down." Umm what are you doing?" Said Addy a little scared.

" oh nothing. Just seeing if you a good fit." Said mr.Clams

" a good fit for what." Said Irsis wanting to go back to the store.

" a good fit for an adventure of cores. Didn't you read the sign."

" we'll ya but"

" upupup did you read the sign."

" yes I did read the sign"

" then follow me." Said mr.clams with a smile.

I grabbed Iris by the arm and followed Mr. Clams to a small room in the back. He looked around on a big bookshelf. Took a big book off the shelf and started to skim through it. " yes I was right. This is the book of wizards" said Mr. Clams in a masteries tone.

" What is the book of wizards." I said surprisingly curious.

" what are you to talking about! There is no such thing as wizards. Ugh you and you fairy tales. Un like me where I only read true facts." Said Iris is her usual snooty tone.

Mr. Clams smiled at me and I actually didn't get upset at Iris for being rude. But felt as if I knew this place and Mr. Clams. " I can tell you about your past if you like. You may not like what I tell you though. But if you wish to learn you history I would bee glad to teach you. " said Mr. Clams.

" but I already know about my past I've lived through it." I said.

" not everything. Ask your mom when you get home. Then come here."
