Chapter 3

Gianna's POV

I stopped by the red light. I admired this place, New York. It's so busy, enchanting, the colours it makes when the lights light up at night.

Beautiful.

As the traffic light turned green, I started to drive again to my work place. I parked my car and walked through the office. I walked in and smiled to the receptionist, Becca

Becca has been one of my best friends ever since I lived here. She has short brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. She's really a sassy girl with attitude, but I love her lots. She's also a really close family friend.

I walked up to her.

"Hola, Gianna"

"Heyy, how's are you?"

"I'm actually feeling good, I need to also tell you something by the way" she said to me, smiling deviously

"Well" I replied "Whatever you have on your mind, I hope it's something that I would agree with" I laughed softly.

I walked away an started to walk to my office. I entered my office which had a sleek brown office and a matching chair. On the walls were pictures of my family my siblings.

Well what can I say, I'm Italian and we have a big family. To the right corner of my desk was a plant, one I just brought recently that reminded me of home.

I went sat down at my desk and started to do my work, I have started to make a spectacular design for this close client of mine.

I was halfway through, when my mobile started to ring, taking me of track.

"Hello"

"How's my big sister doing?"

"LUCAS, I've missed you"

"Me too, big sis, how are you"

"I'm doing really good"

"Well, I just wanted to inform that I'm in New York and I'm throwing a party at my hotel on Saturday and I've invited you to come"

"YOUR IN NEW YORK?! We need to meet up some time time before then and thank you for the invite, definitely looking forward to it."

I heard him chuckle softly "I've missed you too, can't wait for you to come. How about we meet at the 'Lorenzo Restaurant' at 1"

"Sounds good to me, I'll see you tomorrow then, love you"

"Can't wait, love you too big sis, byee"

I smiled, Lucas has been very successful in his career, he owns lots of very high standard, professional hotels in the world. Even though he's younger than me, he looks out for me alot.

Right now he's engaged to his fiancée, Valentina. Me and Valentina has been friends since high school. I introduced them when she came around my house for a sleepover. They had a little fling and it grew big.

We look after her as she's part of our own family, as both her parents passed away.

Looking at the time it's 12:30, time for lunch. I stand up and walk to cafeteria, on the way I saw Josh.

I called out to him,

"Josh" I shouted
