"Would you like to continue where we left off last time?" the girl twirled her dark brown hair with her finger.

"Where did we stop?" the girl was still calm, her melodious voice smooth.

"You said your life was pointless. Why?"

"Why do we do the things we do?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why did you become a therapist?"

"Because I wanted to help people in the way I could help best."

"Why do you want to help people?"

"Because I believe that every person deserves to live their life as freely as can be."

"Do you really believe that?"

Anne-Marie looked taken aback.

"Of course, that's why I'm here. I want to help you, will you let me?"
