Taylor's POV
"She said put them over there!" Bryson snarled for the last time. I was the gang leader and they all looked after me since I was a girl. "Chill Bryson, he'll learn." I crossed my arms leaning against the door frame. "Sorry. Just a bad morning." He sighed and walked to help them. "Taylor! Someone's here!" Matthew shouted from the front door. I made my way over and gave him a nod. He understood and walked away. "May I help you?" I opened the door to reveal two boys my age and a slight bit taller, "Just came to greet our new neighbors." One stuffed his hands into his pockets. "Okay, who are you guys?" I shut the door waiting for an answer. Shuffling feet was heard by the door, "Wait." I told them quietly and hit the door with my fist giving them the notice I knew they were there. I heard them carry on with what they were doing. "Speak." I ordered them. "I'm Ethan Hayes." A boy with dirty blonde hair with blue eyes smirked. "I'm Daniel Cullen." The other with chocolate brown hair stood with no expression. I couldn't see his eyes cause he had sun-glasses on. "Well thanks for the greet." I ignored their conversation before I officially shut the door. "Who was it?" Matthew asked in worry. "It's fine. Just boys greeting us since we're new." I stood there as they all stared at me. "What?" They shared looks and I got the hint, "We moved, we're fine. We have each other to look after, so we don't have to worry." I folded my arms. "That's what we all said last time. And then, we lost your father." Bryson hit the wall in anger and walked out. "It was 3 years ago Bryson." I say quietly. You're probably wondering what happened. I'll explain. My dad was the gang leader before me and he had died from others trying to save my life, so I basically blamed his death on me, he always told me before he passed I should be the next leader. I ended up with these boys and moving in case I lose them. At that point, they were all I had and I considered them family. There was a couple girls but they decided to live across the street from us. Their names? Sarah Murphy and Chloe Byrne. I also call them my family.
"I'm going over with Sarah and Chloe." I state giving them a knowing look that I wasn't in the mood for their questions. I left and jogged to their place. "Aye! Open up." I knock with a smirk knowing they would freak out. The door swung open, "Wassup hottie?" Chloe joked allowing me in. "Wassup. Where's Sarah?" I ask jumping onto the couch. "Upstairs. Are we ready to rule the school?" She raised an eyebrow, amused. "You sound like a 12 year old. But, again, keep low. We don't need everyone knowing who we are." She nodded. "Then how are we dressing?" She asks curiosly. "That's what I'm here for!" Sarah sang as she entered the room. "Oh yeah, little miss LA girl knows fashion around here doesn't she?" I tease. She rolled her eyes, "We can still where what we have, just no bandana. And NO POCKETS KNIVES." She glared at us both. We both threw out our knives onto the table and she smiled, "Okay. As for the guys, they are totally fine with what they have. Us on the other hand, we have to go shopping. and no, we don't have to dress girly." She assured. We nodded and left. We bought some things I would sort of approve.
