Flashback.....
A 5 year old Adrian threw himself in his mothers arms.
"MOMMY!! You're back!"
His mother chuckled and ran her hand through her sons thick blond hair.
"Yes sweetheart. I'm back.
"Mommy, wanna watch a movie with me?"
"Yes sweetie I'm coming."
"I love you mommy."
"I love you too."
Adrian had a nightmare and ran screaming for his mother crying. He hugged her sobbing.
"Mommy! I had a nightmare you left me and didn't come back!" He sobbed.
"Sssh Adrien. I would never leave you."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Promise?"
Adrien's bottom lip trembled.
"I promise."
Present:
Adrien bolted awake gasping he held his head looking heartbroken.
"Mother." He whispered.
"Uh....Adrien you okay?" his friend Plag asked.
"Ya. Just a bad dream."
"Well come on you gotta get to school."
"Right."
Adrien looked at his Ladybug poster on the wall.
He put his hand on it sadly.
"You would never leave me right?" A tear rolled down his cheek.
Marionettes Pov:
Marionette!" Tiki yelled.
"Wake up! You have to go to school."
"Right coming." Marionette quickly got dressed ate breakfast and ran out the door with Tiki in her purse. However she was late for class.
"Oh look. Big surprise. Clumsy Marionette is late once again." Chloe said.
Marionette wasn't looking at her she was looking at Adrien.
"What's wrong with him? She wondered.
Adrien! Wait! Marionette called as she chased him down the hall.
"Huh? Oh hey Marionette."
"What's wrong Adrien?" She asked.
Adrien sighed. I had a nightmare about my mom. She said shed never leave me but she did." Adrien looked heartbroken.
Marionette put a comforting hand on Adrien's shoulder.
"Well I would never leave you."
Adrien smiled.
"Really?"
"Really."
