Prelude

It began long ago, in a land far to the East there was the strongest kingdom in Middle Earth, Erebor. The king Thror was the greatest of the Dwarf Lords. Thror ruled with utter assuredly, for his line lay safe with his son, and grandson.

The wealth of Erebor was like no other, precious gems hewn from rock, and in great gold running like rivers down the rock. The skill of the Dwarves were like no other, they could fashion objects of beauty. Out if diamond, emerald, ruby, and sapphire.

Ever they dove deeper into the dark, and that is where they found it the heart of the mountain, the Arkenstone. Thror named it the Kings Jewel. He took it as a sign a sign that his right to rule was divine. All would pay homage to him even the great Elvenking Thrandill.

But the years of peace and plenary were not to last. Slowly the days turned sower. And the watchful nights closed in. Thror's love of gold had grown too fierce, a sickness had begun to grow in him, it was a sickness of the mind and where sickness thrives bad things happen.

The first they herd was a noise like a hurricane, coming from the north. Pines on the mountain creaked and cracked in the hot dry wind.

It was a dragon, a Fire Drake from the north. Smaug had come. Such unwanted death was delt that day, but the city of men was of no prize for him, his eye was set of Erebor. For dragons cover gold with a dark and fierce desire.

Erebor was lost. For a dragon will gaurd his plunder for as long as he lives. Thrandill watched over but did nothing he did not want to risk the lives of his men against the dragon.

Adrianna is a dwarf, but no beard and looks are far beyond any dwarf woman.

She lives in the East Farthing Woods in the Shire. She was there the night that Erebor was lost and went with the Dwarves to the Blue Mountains. She did not like it there, it didn't suite her so she decided to travel around and she found the Shire and the woods. She decided to settle there instead.

She has no family her grand parents passed along time ago, her mother and father were only child's. Her mother left her when she was 2 and her father died 60 years ago protecting Erebor from Smaug.


So there's kinda the first chapter I hope you like it I'm glad to start my book! I also have another Lord of the rings book, A Love Within A Fellowship ( Legolas love story) so read that to! I'm excited to get started!!!!!!
