"It must be decided,"The King bellowed as he slammed his fist onto the oak table causing all the plates to clatter and the utensils to vibrate.

Whispers quickly spread throughout the room spiking the king's feared anger issues. "SILENCE,"the king screamed dragging the letters. "All I want to hear are solutions,now anyone care to open their mouth and give me a reason to be grateful of having such wonderful comrades" the King added, sarcasm dripping from his words.

"But, But your ma-majesty, h-how can we possibly go a- against such a powerful force" the duke questioned.

The King started turning red as he spoke" I asked for SOLUTIONS not nonsense, I will not take another "but"or so be it." The King raised an eyebrow in preparation of an agreement from the people in front of him. He continued after some small nods from the crowd,"Now for years love has seemed to cause a problem to those who wish to arrange their children into noble marriage. We must find a way to make it that in no way possible should they marry the one that is not chosen for them."

The majority whispered in agreement as others looked around the room to find anyone that has a solution to the King's problem.

"Your majesty there might be a way," the Prince from the Northern Isles said bieng the first to bring forth an idea to the table."We could find a way of attaching such technology to every newborn and find a way of making the child obey the instructions it brings forth, in this case bieng arranged marriage."

"It can be a clock that counts down," another added.

"A CLOCK, I asked for a reasonable idea to save the future of our families and you come up with a clock," the King yelled losing patience as every second went by.

After 3 hours of constant bickering, the people at the table came up with a plan to ensure arranged marriage.

The idea brought forth was the "Coundown," which states the following:
THE COUNTDOWN

For centuries the nobles of kingdoms across this planet have tried to marry their children into the family of their choice, and for centuries they have failed due to the disagreement of their children. This plan ensures that they will marry into their perfect match...

▪Every child born 20 years from now, the year 3000, will have a clock in their system. This clock shall only be visible to the owner and no one else.

▪The clock will countdown till the person meets their soulmate and thus forcing one to marry the perfect person.

▪ If one tries to abide from the rules or feel affection for another, time from the clock shall decrease as a reminder of their true match.

For the first 100 years the royal families will match people to their soulmates. However, once this century is over the clock will decide one's perfect math through improved technology.

For the sake of our future, and the future of mankind, once the clock strikes 12 and the day is July 6,3000, the COUNTDOWN will begin.
