Marinettes PoV
"MARINETTE wake up your late for school ." Ugh that's tikki shouting , well I think she tries to shout but I can't really give her all the credit .
"Yes, yes tikki I'm up ." I grabbed a random selection of clothes from my cupboard , hmm black shorts and a light green shirt with a black paw print , how fitting.
"Bye mama and papa!" I shouted as I rushed out the door.

I was greeted by my ladybug loving best friend,of course.
"HEY GIRL, ooh I absolutely love your chat noir inspired outfit ." Alya never really swooned over me so this was a first.
"Thanks alya , I didn't really mean to pick this outfit , but at least I know you like it." I gave her a hug of gratitude .
"It looks like I'm not the only one who likes it." She grinned suggestively and glared at her side , I followed her eye movement slowly and suddenly made eye contact with the love of my life , Adrien agreste , I instantly blushed because I spotted him glaring at me , it almost seemed like a lovestruck stare.
"I love your outfit Marinette , it's very cute." He winked as he said that , i don't think I can breathe right now.
"I uh , Tha-Thankyou , I mean , you look cut-cute , AH I mean .. "
"She says Thankyou Adrien . " alya keeps on saving my ass , I always embarrass myself in front of him, but I feel like he's immune to it already. I face palmed at my actions, but I couldn't conceal my burning red face.
"Your welcome princess ." He touched my shoulder in reassurance and walked off
......wait hold on , did he call me princess ?? ......I could hear alya sniggering behind me,
"Did Adrien just call you his princess, ooh is there something your not telling me Mari ?" She said this between laughs of confusion.
I was lost for words so I didn't reply.

The first thing I did when I got home was jump onto my bed , face first, I was still thinking about how I embarrassed myself .
"Ugh tikki why am I such a fuck up ?" I slapped my face as I made the remark.
"Oh marinette your not, your an amazing girl, it's just your major crush on Adrien can make you delirious sometimes your a 16 year old girl and you get a bit crazy don't worry." *ik marinettes actually 15* Damn that kwami really knew how to cheer me up .
"Well I guess I should get ready for bed, maybe a relaxing bath might calm me down a bit."
As I was undressing I heard a tap at my window, but I ignored the noise , it was probably a stupid pigeon that flew into my window or something. So i carried on undressing and climbed into the bath, I sunk down into the water and I felt all my problems and responsibilities free my body .
The knocks got louder, yet again I ignored them until I heard a screeching noise,and a drop on my floor boards.
I felt like ice under the water, I didn't move because of the possibility of someone breaking in , my parents weren't home either, great.
I started to cry because my life was on the line , the footsteps got louder and louder .
Until I felt a presence outside my bathroom door ...

I stopped breathing and completely covered myself with the water , I could hear the door knob twisting , wow marinette you didn't lock the door...
"Hello, is anyone there ?" I heard a male voice echo around my bathroom.
Screaming was my next option , long flowing tears were exiting my eyes.
Suddenly I felt hands on my shoulders lifting me up out of my current state , my whole vision was a blur, so I couldn't make out who the intruder was , so I screamed louder and louder and cried harder. I could feel the intruder climb into the bath , he obviously didn't think twice , since he was wearing ... A black suit ?
"WHO ARE YOU, DONT HURT ME PLEASE!" I was trembling rapidly as I felt the intruder touch my arm.
"I won't hurt you , I promise , I'm hear to talk."
His voice was soothing , but I didn't dare to open my eyes , my eyes were still producing tears.
I suddenly felt him bring me into an embrace, I was soon aware that I was completely naked so I covered my chest with my arms .
"I'm not looking I promise princess."
Princess ...... Chat ?
"Chat, Is that y-you?" I said between sniffles.
I suddenly opened my eyes and they met with his emerald ones ,
I've never been so glad to see my partner in all my life.
"Of course , who else would it be?" He slowly climbed out the bath and dried himself off , he grabbed me a towel to cover myself off.
Chats PoV
I leaped from building to building , hurrying to see my princess to talk to her . As soon as I reached her balcony I tapped on her window . No reply . And again . No reply . So I used my claws to break her latch, it isn't breaking and entering if your a super hero ;)
It was useful that her bed was literally right underneath her window/ latch thing, so no broken bones for this kitty .
She wasn't in her room , maybe her bathroom?? She could be brushing her teeth .
"Hello , is anyone there? " no response.
So I opened the bathroom door, ooh it's unlocked how convenient .
I heard screaming and crying , only assuming it was marinette, who was , in the, bathtub .... Not wearing any clothes (no shit) .
Man I hated seeing her cry like this , I could see that she was fully under the water and could be suffocating so I grabbed her shoulders and propped her up in a sitting position, I tried not to get distracted by ... Yeah , so I climbed in ,to reassure her that it was okay .
"WHO ARE YOU, DONT HURT ME PLEASE!" She was loudly crying now , I just wanted to hug her.
"I won't hurt you, I promise , I'm hear to talk ." I would never hurt marinette , if anything I'm hear to protect her . I could see her eyes were all puffy from crying , I really didn't mean to scare her so I brought her into an embrace , she covered herself with her arms , obviously , and I kissed her forehead to calm her down .
" I'm not looking I promise princess." That was a complete lie , but I didn't want to worry her .
"Chat ,is that y-you?" To be honest I should've told her it was me in the first place ...
"Of course, who else would it be ?" Our eyes met as i climbed out of her bath and dried myself off , she was probably looking for some coverage so I gently handed her a towel .

Sooooo , how was that , complete de ja vu to my starco fanfic Ik 😂 but I will update chapter 2 today , man I've really missed writing fanfics , and I'm so happy how far my starco one went , even though it was complete trash anyway I hope this story is as successful :))
