Once I reached the ground, I wouldn't be able to see anything if it weren't for the the moonlight that splashed down its watery white-silver glow, bathing us. I looked at Jeff as waved me to the front of my house and to the right, "Come on, it's this way."

I follow Jeff and pick up my pace to match his. We stayed in the shadows as we made our way to the mansion. We entered the woods and I noticed where we were. I must've walked past this place hundreds of times, we're in the same woods that I go through on my way home from school.

"Hey, I know this place," I state.

"You might," He said with a shrug and continued, "but you don't know it as well as I do."

I shot him a questioning look, either he ignored it or didn't see it at all. We continued our way through the woods nearly silently besides the crunch of sticks and leaves under out shoes.

Once I was about to ask how much farther we would have to travel, Jeff smiles and yells out, "We're here."

I look around and see a clearing about 15 feet in front of us and give Jeff a questioning look, "Umm...not to burst your bubble but there's no mansion..."

He smiled smugly as he lead me about 20 feet to our left, I see what looks like an archway made from intertwined trees. Jeff quickly steps in between them and guides me over as well.

I look around, puzzled as to why he wants me in this spot. He quickly does a 180 and I look over his shoulder to see him tracing what looks like an "O" with an "X" crossed through it. It looks as if this symbol was once carved into the tree a long time ago, and as he traced his finger over the mark, it began to glow a bright, fiery red color. Wait. It is fire.

Jeff turns back to me and I almost stumble backwards as I realize this and the fire begins spreading up the tree and to the other that connected the archway.

He just smirks and says, "This might hurt a little for your first time."

What the actual fuck?! 'this might hurt a little for your first time' First time doing what exactly?!

The world around me began to shake and the trees started bending in ways I didn't even know was possible.

After about 30 seconds of going crazy, it stopped. It all stopped. The shaking, the trees, everything stopped.

I fell to the ground, head in my hands and my elbows on my knees. My head was killing me, it was like the worst migraine ever. I wish I had a gun with me at this point because I would rather shoot my fucking brains out that bear with this.

Jeff keeled down to my level and attempted to comfort me by rubbing my back but that didn't work at all. He told me that "It'll hurt less the more you do it," but who the hell, in their minds thought 'Hey lets do that again'? I mean really, what the actual fuck.

I ignored the comment but I was trying everything to get my mind off of this pain.

My what's-worse-than-a-migraine subsided after what seemed like five minutes. I looked to Jeff and I think he realized that my pain was gone due to the fact that he looked a bit startled and said, "Wow. You took that better than anybody else. It only lasted about a minute for you."

'A minute? How come it felt longer? Well, probably just because it was really painful.' I told myself.

I shrugged it off and slowly looked at the clearing and saw a mansion. Whoa, so Jeff wasn't lying.

He made his way up to the front door with my bag, I followed and inspected the place. Three stories tall, the porch wrapped around the front and halfway around the sides with wood beams holding it up. The place was painted a deep black with accents of dark grey.
