"Mani can I talk to you?" A deep voice spoke rather softly as she felt a hand place on her back.

Her, Dinah and Zendaya were in the kitchen eating bowls of cereal. Ally and Will went out for breakfast and Lauren was still in bed sleep.

Normani woke up this morning with the biggest smile on her face, feeling all types of satisfied. Lauren pleased her in ways that no male had ever done before. She was in fact displaying all types of powers Normani didn't even know super Lo had.

She should be the one still knocked out but it was usual for Lauren to sleep longer than her, she had been doing it their whole lives.

"Yeah.. Sure what's up?" She said between a scoop of her cap n crunch.

"You know like private..?" He questioned hinting to his cousin and her girlfriend that had their eyes locked on them being nosey.

"Oh?" She said raising a brow.

He clearly looked a bit gloomy and down. She deep down inside was hoping that it had nothing to do with her and Lauren last night because one that's embarrassing and two she just doesn't want to deal with any of that right now, or ever.

"Sure.." She mumbled standing up from the table.

He placed her hand on her lower back and guided her out the kitchen. Before they exited all the way Normani looked back to Dinah and Zendaya who both were looking at her with their lips pressed in a line.

Normani hesitated a bit when she felt him guiding her all that way to his room.

"Sit?" He said once he sat down on the bed, patting the spot beside him.

"I'll stand Trevor.."

"It's a long conversation, I just really need to talk to you mani" he frowned.

She twisted her lips and walked over to the bed to sit down. She knew how much effort Lauren was putting in to keep him away from her. But Trevor is her friend and she wouldn't let anything happen with him because she doesn't want anything to happen with him.

"Okay what is it?" She questioned with a slight grimace.

"I really am a good guy, it hurts that you don't see it"

The brown girl raised a brow "Trevor what are you talking about, I know you're a good guy"

"But not good enough for you.." He frowned.

"That's not true.. You're just not the one for me"

"But why?"

Normani looked at him dumbfounded "Um for one I'm with Lauren -"

He cut her off "that's not just a thing, you're not just experimenting or whatever they call it? You're really a lesbian now.. Just like that?"

"I know I'm in love with her and that's all that matters. It's also none of your business"

He sighed "Do you want to know the real reason I came here alone?"

"Um sure.."

"I thought that somehow I could win you or take you from her" he chuckles and shakes his head "I know stupid right? But I thought me being around you for a week I could do some convincing.."

"That's honestly the most stupid thing ever" the brown girl giggled "I came here for Lauren, with Lauren. How would me leaving with you play out? That would never happen Trevor"

She sighed "You really are a good guy and if I wasn't with Lauren you would be my next pick for sure. But I guess you came back too late, I'm in love. I'm not the same highschool girl I was a few years ago. On top of that you're leaving again anyway, once the summer is over"
