"Oh" I sigh as I head outside through the rain. It normally rains a lot but today's rain was much worse, it was hard and loud. I decided I should drive to work. I hop in and start my car up and head towards the interstate. With the rain it's hard to see and before I know it I'm slipping and sliding all over the road. I notice ahead of me a big was sliding a lot more then me.
"I hope they don't run into me!" I exclaimed. I cannot be late to work again. Before I could slow down I was hit by something full force and I blacked out.
...
I wake up and I'm in the hospital. I hear a voice outside of my room talking with the nurse.
"Will she be ok? I have to be in Virginia by tomorrow and I don't really have time for this."
"We ran a few test and she only has minor injuries."
"That's a huge relief."
I look at the door and see the handle moving and I assume it's the nurse but instead a tall, dark, and handsome man walks in.
"Hi, I'm Gerald. And my tour bus ran into you."
"Hi I'm Ivy. And you should really find someone who knows how to drive it." I mange to say with my raspy voice.
"Yeah we fired the driver."
"That's good."
"How are you feeling, Ivy?" He asked in a very sincerely voice.
"I hurt, like a lot, and everywhere."
"Yeah we are really sorry about that and your car."
"Damnit, my car."
"Hey don't worry about it I'll pay for your new one and you medical bills."
Wow this guy is hella nice
"Wow um thank you so much."
"Yeah no problem. It was our fault. When your ready for your car I put my number in your phone you call me ok?"
"Ok"
"I'll see you later."
"Bye"
And he walks out just like that. I'm a shocked and completely speechless. The nurse walks in to replace my I.V. and she seems blushed.
"He was really worried about you."
"He had a show to get to and he probably just worried if he was going to get there in time."
"No" she says harshly "He really cared."
She leaves and I lay and think about that for a while as I drift to sleep.
