CHAPTER 15 Part 2 

I grabbed my guitar, "Guys..." 

"What?" Ynigo, Vince, Kyla and Dexter said. 

"I can't do this..." 

"What?"

I gave a nervous laugh and one step backwards. 

"Trust me guys, my hands are shaking and my heart is beating so fast right now." I told them. My voice is even shaking! 

Ynigo and Vince exchanged looks. Kyla walked towards me and put her both oh her hands on my shoulders forcing me to look into her eyes. 

"Yuri, there's no turning back now. Remember you want this- no you LOVE this." 

"But what if I forget the chords? The lyrics? Oh my God." 

"Come on, you can do this. Just listen to the crowd." Vince told me. 

"YEAH! Just think that some people are so excited to hear your voice." Ynigo said then ruffled my hair. 

"But-" 

"No buts, little girl." He said as he was what I think pretending to tune his guitar, not looking at me. "I believe in you, we all do. And you're not performing alone we're right beside you." 

I looked at him then suddenly all I wasn't nervous anymore- I was excited even. 

"Okay." Was all I said but that earned me a cheer from Vince and Ynigo. 

"So the only person to talk you into this is your boyfriend? I'll keep that in mind Yuri." Kyla said and I laughed. 

Mr. Seth entered and wished us good luck, well at first he was all gay and stuff because he couldn't recognize us. 

"Oh and guys? DO NOT say any of your names got that? Create nicknames or something. And Yuri and Gabriel? Don't forget to talk about something before each song." Kyla said. 

We walked to the stage, curtains still closed. We connected our guitars to the amplifier. 

"Are you sure you're ready?" The emcee shouted which in response were shouts and screams of agreement. 

"Then here's the performance all of you have been waiting for!" 

Slowly the curtains parted then my heart was pounding so fast because THE FIRST TO SING was me. 

Ynigo started on his drums and the crowd started cheering. 

Damn.I forgot the lyrics. 

Damn. I can't remember. Oh God. 

Then we were all playing. Dexter was looking at me then mouthed "Sing!", I gave him a nervous look. He took it. 

Oh yeah Dexter sang the song that I was supposed to sing..

I candy-coat and cover everything

With him singing I started to remember. I looked at Dexter then closed in to my mic and sang.
