The sun rays lit Julie's bedroom as she slept soundly on her bed. A fly landed on her cheek and she lightly swatted it away, moaning lightly. She turned in her sleep and started snoring again. Beep! Beep! Beep! Julie groaned at the loud beeping of her alarm, "Ugh... Shut up..." she tried finding the button to turn it off but it only made the alarm fall on the floor, "You know the alarm isn't going to stop beeping if tell it to be quiet." The voice came from Toby, that bastard, he must have set up the alarm to wake her because he doesn't like it when she sleeps in for too long. Julia groaned again and slowly got up. She unplugged the alarm angrily and it stopped beeping immediately. She sat there for a second with her eyes closed, still sleepy. She smacked her dry lips and stretched. Getting out of her bed she accidentally tripped over the alarm, she awoke from the fall, alert. She grumbled, "Uggh, stupid watc- alarm." She kicked it under her bed with her foot and stood up to go to the bathroom. Her spikes where a mess and she still had bags under her eyes as she turned on the shower.
After about an hour or so of singing, humming, and playing in the bathtub she finally brushed her teeth and dressed up. She wore the usual outfit, a salmon and white colored dress with simple boots. She went downstairs and was met by the smell of bacon and pancakes. Well, that was the positive side to things besides the fact the entire living room and kitchen where completely dirty, "Wow, I didn't know you guys invited a pig to your "guy time". Toby chuckled in response, flipping a pancake, "Well I'll make sure to tell that "pig" to be more clean the next time he leaves the Master Emerald" Julie sat down by the kitchen table as Toby put a plate of pancakes and bacon with simple orange juice on the table, he grabbed a plate for himself, "Heh heh, sorry, it's just that the guys where all hitting it off with the food I had. Especially Knuckles and Silver, those two love to eat. Silver made a pizza, and Knuckles searched for grapes." Julie laughed in response, "Well, I guess I didn't notice the mess when I came back from Amy's house. I was really tired." She remembered the moment when she came to Amy's house, Amy was so happy, she invited Cream and Rouge over to hang out too, it was fun. But then Rouge kept asking tauntingly what she was wondering Shadow was doing there while we stayed at Amy's place. Julie remembered it clearly, she was sitting down playing with Amy's hair as Rouge chuckled, "I wonder what those boys are up to now? And Shadow, what could he be doing? Probably being bored and thinking about something... Or someone" She side glanced at Julie while saying that. Julie just sat there trying to pretend Rouge meant "someone" as in not her. Julie now wondered to herself, as she stared at the reflection of herself in the Orange juice. What if it where true? No, no it can't. That's ridiculous, Shadow had no interest on relationships and even if he did, of all the girls why would he choose her? Julie thought deeper and found herself getting engulfed by the orange thoughts of empty space, "...Julie...Juliee?, Julie!", "Huh?" Toby was staring at her confused, he raised an eyebrow, "Is there a fly in your orange juice?" Julie blinked, "What?" Toby picked up his cup of tea, "Is there a fly in your orange juice?" Julie hesitated a bit, "...Huh? Oh! No, no! I was just... Thinking." She grabbed her plate and brought it to the sink, Toby was looked at his cup, "About what?" He he took a sip. Julie placed her plate in the dishwasher, "Oh, uh...nothing, just a weird dream I had. That's all." She walked to the living room and started cleaning up the mess, Toby watched her, "...If you say so." He finished his tea and went to put it away. Julie picked up small candy wrappers and plastic cups, as she put them into a small bag she noticed something on the couch. A leather jacket, it was just a simple black jacket with white fake fur around the neck cut, it was folded carefully on the couch pillow. Julie went up to it too take a look, she unfolded it and felt the fur, it was soft so it wouldn't scratch your neck if you wore it. She looked at Toby who was wiping down the kitchen table, "Did you buy a new jacket or?..." Toby glanced at it and got back to wiping the table, "Oh that, that's Shadow's. He must've forgotten it when everyone left." Julie looked back at the jacket and with a closer look and noticed a tag in the neck fold, Property of: Shadow The Hedgehog. Julie raised an eyebrow, amused. That's the first time she saw someone actually write their name on a jacket. She put it down and quickly threw away the trash. She took the jacket and went near the exit door, she put it down on the mirror closet and brushed her hair, ones she was done she glanced around the corner to see what Toby was doing, he had stopped washing the table and now moved on to polishing his wine glass, Julie turned back, grabbed the jacket and carefully opened the door, she was about to leave when, "Where do you think you're going with someone else's belongings? Don't think I didn't hear you open the door." Julie turned her head back, "I'm going to return the jacket back to Shadow. I mean, what else can I do?" Toby seemed to have chuckled, "Well you could have waited until he came back for it but, eh-" he glanced towards the door, "-whatever suits your needs, heh heh." Julie rolled her eyes and exited the mansion, it wasn't a big mansion, but it was definitely much larger than a normal house. She closed the door behind her and took a deep breath, breathing in the scents of the flower garden that grew at the side of the front lawn. She released her breath, "Okay, I'm just going to return the jacket to Shadow. Don't do anything stupid." Like lose the jacket or try it on She thought to herself as she headed out towards, where she guessed, was his home.
