TBBSMB - Oneshot

Hello, my name is Jack, I'm 12 years old and I'm very confused! You see I like this girl in my class. She is short, blond and very pretty. It's not like I haven't talked to girls before (I'm not a weirdo) it's just that I don't know what to say to her. But that's not why I am confused. It's because of my sister and her fiancé. They have been together for about 4 years by now and boy they had a ruff start. I think it had something to do with a bra or mickey mouse but I'm not quite sure. You better go ask her yourself ;) Anyway they have come home for Christmas so I decided to ask them for some advice. And here's where the trouble began.

We were sitting on the coach and playing Mario Cart (a sort of tradition of ours), when I popped the question

"How do I get a girl to like me?". For me it was a very serious question. I mean my love life was hanging on the line! But guess what their first reaction was. They laughed at me!! I couldn't believe it! "I'm serious, how do I get a girl to like me?", I said looking them straight in the eye. And again they burst out into laughter. "Guys, you have to help me. I like this girl and I don't know what to do", I pleaded. I think the finally understood  the severity of the situation and quieted  down.

"Look", Alex began "Why do you even want to have one girlfriend, if you can have many?"

"What?", Riley asked shooting him an angry look. "Don't put those ideas into his head!"

"I just meant, why should he fixate himself on one female if he can have them all? He can settle later", Alex tried to explain shrugging his shoulders.

"No, no, no", Riley objected clapping her hand together "Monogamy is good, stick to one girl!" Behind her I could see Alec vigorously shaking his head.

"I  saw that", Riley remarked without even turning around. "And please", Riley said, now looking directly at Alec "Don't try to turn my brother into a M-A-N-W-H-O-R-E", pronouncing each letter separately.

"You know I can spell", I remarked. "And I'm not going to turn into a whatever you just said. I just want some advice about how to approach her. "

"Best way is to directly go to her and to tell her what you feel!", Alec replied leaning back.

"Says the right person!", Riley remarked, crossing her arms, "This boy", and she pointed at Alec, "Was way too afraid to ask me out until it was almost too late!"

"First, I am not a boy, I am a man." Alec corrected, "And second it all worked out fine, right?".

"Right.", Riley agreed kissing Alec on the mouth. EWWW

"So, if I'm not supposed to do it directly how should I do it?", I asked them. 

"Drop a few hints, do something nice for her , she'll notice.", Riley advised leaning back in to kiss Alec.

"But don't ever, steal from her! That only works sometimes", Alec chimed in.

I had no clue what he meant by that and probably will never find out because Alec and Riley had started making out. Right infront of me! It was so disgusting! I tried waving my hands and shouting their names but to no avail. So I went up to my room to think of a plan.

And now I'm sitting here on my bed and don't know what to do. Should I even have a girlfriend and if yes how should I talk to her? Grownups can be so confusing sometimes!
