We are at a Christmas dinner. It's really hard being at this event with Braden's family friends. It's been hard because I hardly had seen Braden and on top of everything, I just met Macy, who I haven't seen for a while. Macy is the girl everyone, including Braden parents, want for him. This is just great. And the hardest part is that I can't do anything because we are a damn secret. I'm getting really tired about this situation but I am in love with Braden and my feelings for him are only getting stronger. I'm so confused.
Suddenly I hear someone call my name. I turn around and see Mr. Steven (Braden's dad), my dad, Braden's mom, my mom, his brother, my sister, a guy I don't recognize and Braden himself.
Mr. Steven: Claire we finally found you! We want you to meet someone. This is Lucas. He is a friend of Braden.
Claire: Hi, nice to meet you.
Lucas: Hi, nice to meet you too. I heard a lot about you. All good, don't worry.
Claire: I hope so, Hahaha.
Mr. Steven: We prepare you two a little date, hope you don't mind.
Claire: I don't know, should I?
*I say this looking at my dad and then at Braden*
Dad: No go ahead. It should be fun.
*Braden just looks away. Great! *
Claire: In that case, I would love to go.
*Braden looks at me and we lock eyes for a while*
Lucas: All right, I'll go look for your coat and wait for you at the door.
Claire: No wait, I'll go with you. See you guys later.
Mr. Steven: Good luck!
Dad: Have fun!
Braden: Not that much fun! Just kidding.
Lucas takes me for dinner at an Italian restaurant. After dinner we walk for a while and shows me around town. But I can't get Braden out of my head. Yet, he didn't said anything. Why? I thought we had something real going on.
