Forever My Protector (Koichi X Reader)

You and Koichi were walking to your house after school. You said, "Ne, Koichi-kun, you don't always have to walk me home all the time. Don't you also have things to do after school?"
Koichi looked at you and said, "I do, but I want to make sure you're safe at all times." You smiled.
"You're very protective of me Koichi-kun." Koichi held your hand like a prince and kissed it.
He smiled and said, "I can't help not thinking of you, (Y/N)." You blushed and bit your lip. You two kept walking in silence for a little while.
You broke the silence and asked him, "Are you available tomorrow after school?"
"I'm not. Sorry. Takuya, Kai, and I are working on a project after school in the library. I'm not able to walk you home tomorrow."
"It's okay, Koichi-kun. I can look after myself. I'll wait for you until you're done."
Koichi became worried and asked, "Are you sure? What about your parents?"
You replied, "I'm sure they're fine with it. As long as I get home safe."
Koichi said, "Okay, (Y/N). Just be careful when you wait for me, ne?"
You smiled and replied, "Okay!"
-The Next Day After School-
You were doing your homework in the library while Koichi, Kai, and Takuya were doing their project. After a while, you were done. You decided to get a snack for you, Koichi, and maybe for Kai and Takuya. You went to their table and asked Koichi, "I'm going to get some snacks. Anything you want?"
Koichi thought for a moment and smiled, "Surprise me."
You replied, "Okay. Kai? Takuya? Do you want anything?"
Kai said, "No thank you."
Takuya said, "I'm good."
You said, "Okay. I'll be back!" You left and then you heard Koichi say, "Be careful!" You smiled.
-Time Skip-
You had got (your favorite snack) for yourself. For Koichi, you got him ramen, since it is his favorite food. You were walking to the library until a male student blocks your way. He said, "What have you got there?" He took your bag of the snacks you purchased and found the bowl of ramen for Koichi. "I'll just take the bowl of ramen, shortie."
You clenched your fists and said, "You can't take that. Get your own!"
He began to have a scary look on his face. He grabbed the collar of your shirt very tightly. He then replied, "You think you can stand up against me? Can you even defend yourself?" He slammed your body against the wall. You grunt in pain and see him looking down at you, ready to teach you a lesson until someone pulls him away from you. You see Koichi in front of you, protecting you.
You hear Koichi say, "Oi! If you're going to pick on someone, pick on someone your size!"
The male student replied, "I can handle one boy like you, pipsqueak."
Koichi smirked and said, "What about three?" You then see Kai and Takuya with Koichi. The male student widens his eyes in fright knowing that Kai and Takuya are tough students.
He says, "Tch. Forget it. I never wanted that ramen in the first place." He walked away from you guys. Koichi then turned around and saw you sitting on the ground.
Koichi said, "(Y/N)! Are you okay?" He shook you a bit. You look down in sadness.
You said, "I'm sorry. I put you through that trouble just because I couldn't defend myself. That ramen he wanted to take, it was for you since I know you love ramen." You felt Koichi's arms hug you. He said, "It's not trouble. It's something I want to do! Defen- no! Protect you (Y/N)!"
You were surprised, "Koichi-kun." You smiled and said, "Thank you." You two hugged and stood up.
-30 Minutes Later-
You were with Koichi, Kai, and Takuya. You said, "Thank you again for defending me. It really means a lot to me."
Takuya said, "No problem. We just wanted to make sure Koichi was actually going to be your knight in shining armor and not run away."
Koichi reacted, "EEHHH?!!!!" You giggled.
Kai added on to Takuya's comment, "We also have to make sure he doesn't get hurt and cry in front of you too."
Koichi responded, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!! I DON'T CRY!!"
Takuya said, "Like Kai and I were saying, we were trying to make sure you know what you were doing and won't end up looking stupid."
Koichi said, "Ehh?! I was looking cool protecting you, wasn't I (Y/N)?"
You responded, "I wouldn't say cool, but cute." Koichi blushed.
Koichi started stammering, "Umm.."
You then hugged him, "That's why you are forever my protector, Koichi-kun."
Koichi wrapped his arms around you and smiled. He said, "Yeah." You kissed his cheek causing him to blush.
