Dear Charlie,
Sometimes an insulting joke can go to far. Sometimes you don't even notice it. And sadly sometimes it can cause people to feel bullied. And feeling bullied is one of the worst feelings in the world. Especially if its a friend that's bullying you.
I'm not bullied, nor do I bully. But I feel bad for a friend of mine who is being picked on by another one of my friends. This is hard to evaluate who is in the wrong because the bullier has her reasons but the victim doesn't deserve this pain. But does anyone deserve to be bullied?
I know that this bullying has to stop, but its hard to stop it because the bullier happens to be very nice to me. And I wonder a lot why she is.
My friends have all broken off since high-school started and Julia left. Some went for the popular crowd and others went after boys. I talk to all of them still, only I talk to them seperately. It's better this way.
I talk to Fred still. A lot of people don't understand why I do after all that he's done to me. Honestly, its because I desire, more than anything, closure. I just need to be assured that we're okay and he's getting the help he needs. And I really do care about him even though he did bully me.
Fred, however, didn't just bully me to make fun of me or become more popular. Fred wanted me to love him. And I couldn't. And I could see the shame in his eyes when he would yell in my face and scare me.
She waits her wasted time for him
Hoping he'll change himself within
He breaks her heart all over again
But she's damn sure that she'll fix it
The years and happiness pass her by
She curses his name with tears in her eyes
He carelessly promises her nothing but lies
But she couldn't figure out where to draw the line
Love always, Alia
