Chapter 1

News in the underworld spread fast. Most of the demon population have already heard about the terrible accident that caused death to befall among their dear queen Mariel.

She foolishly rose to the human world so she can wipe out this powerful angel who killed many of the demons living in the land of mundanes.
The queen however did not have in mind that the path she was taking will eventually lead up to her death.

Once the news arrived to the underworld, the whole place went down in chaos. Reactions varied. From the careless demons who wouldn't give the matter a second thought to the raging ones who threw fits and claimed that the queen is not dead.

Elissandra on the other hand only thought of this as an opportunity, for a new queen to rise and a new future awakening.

She raised her tiny hand up to examine it. Elissandra quite enjoyed this new form she traded for her older one. More youthful and slim, very easy to move around with. "Now now enough admiring after all i have a busy day ahead of me" she muttered as she turned away from the mirror.

The underworld does take the same form as the mundane world, buildings and houses all of that is available the same in the underworld. Elissandra used her small wings to travel to the capital Eselia. She heard a competition for the new crown is being held there, and she with her determination is confident of her win.
She landed gracefully and took off running to the royal office where the competition is being held.

"I'm here for the crown" Elissandra tells the bored looking lady sitting behind the huge desk. "The meeting ended 30 minutes ago sorry we don't accept late applications, you may excuse yourself" the woman replied dryly.

"Excuse me I was not informed of a certain time, what the burning hell is this" Elissandra snapped. "I don't hear out people's complaints" the lady shrugged her off as if she was nothing but a mere bug. "Eliot please come escort this person out she seems to be here only to waste time" the lady called out to one of the "guards" standing beside the entrance.

The man nodded and rushed to Elissandra's side. Before he could lay a single finger on her he was already on the ground unconscious,"if I don't enter the contest and become queen your precious little friend here might never wake up, will you talk to me now?" Elissandra challenged.

"Whatever I don't care what happens to him but if you're that desperate to enter then I might just tell you the rules for this contest"
"And what exactly are the rules" Elissandra waited for her reply patiently, eager to find out the secret to becoming the queen of this world.

After a few seconds the lady smirked and replied "defeat Orlan the Angel that even our past queen could not defeat, bring us back his wings and the crown shall be all yours".
