The world is a battlefield
Full of venomous secrets and deadly weapons
Posed at the ready to aim or be killedBut each person in this time and space
Is a creation trying to match the pace
Of routines and human ideals
And among this group
Lies an even more unimaginable troop
We are the unnatural, the anomalies of life itself
We only have control of fear and rage within ourselves
And do you know why?
Since the days of our births we have been told not to cry.
Chin up, Kid, they'll find you.
If there is an outburst, you will rue
And mourn for the life you once had
As the true abominations take away another lad
Not unlike you or your kin
You will pay for sin
At least that's what you'll be told
As the world turns cold
