I'm going to die, I'm definitely going to die. I hear the heavy panting of an animal, and twigs are breaking, the noises are getting louder, getting closer. I'm in the middle of the woods, and it's starting to get dark. I have no idea where I am, and I'm clutching a toilet paper roll. All I wanted to do was go to the bathroom and walk back to where we were camping for the night. More than anything I wanted Cody to come find me. I always feel safe with him when he wraps me in his strong arms an- "KASEY!" I hear Cody's voice say. I couldn't do anything but smile at the sound of his voice, I was safe.

"Do you think I have everything I need?" I ask my mom while packing my bag, or should I say bags. My mom looked at my 5 suitcases that I could barely get closed, and nearly screamed when one of them burst open. "Honey, you're going camping with your friends for one week, why do you need so much stuff?"she questioned, half amused and half concerned. " MOM! Help me! I've never been on a camping trip before, I don't know what to pack!" I exclaimed, rubbing my temples with my fingers. Just as my mom was about to reply, the doorbell rang. I immediately cheered up, lurched to my feet, and bounded down the stairs to answer the door.

"Hey, Hey, Hey!" Cody said, letting himself in. "Hi!" I said enthusiastically. He had dirty blonde hair that looked so effortlessly perfect, and ocean blue eyes. He had tan skin and wore a bunch of muscle shirts. A lot of girls think he is a 'bad boy' but on the inside, he's a giant soft teddy bear. " I have a problem." I said glumly. "And what's that?" He asked, arching an eyebrow.

I lead him to my room and he doubled- over with laughter at my 5 suitcases. I punched him in the shoulder after 4 minutes of laughter. "Show me what you packed." I said, in a childish way, my face turning bright pink. I nearly cried when he went to his car and pulled out a small duffel bag. I felt like an idiot. After Cody helped my re-pack we said our goodbyes and went to pick up Lisa, and Ruby.

Lisa and Ruby were Cody's lifelong friends, and he wanted me to get to know them, he said that this was the perfect way. I immediately felt tension in the car when Lisa got in, I could tell that she already didn't like me. She had light brown hair that went to her shoulder blades and flawless skin that looked like as flawless as a baby's. She had brown eyes, and wore a loose shirt and shorts that went just above her knees.

When Ruby got in the car, she was automatically perky. She had gorgeous red hair that went to her waist and emerald green eyes. She wore a tight shirt with shorts that barely covered her butt. She blabbed the whole way and I blabbed right back, we were already getting to be good friends.

When we got there Cody started setting up the tent while Lisa, Ruby and I looked around. We hung out by the lake for a while, then Lisa and Ruby went to claim their tents. A few minutes after they left, Cody walked over and sat down next to me. "We should get back to our tents, it's going to get dark soon." Cody said, standing up and extending his arm to help me up. I took his hand and nodded. "I need to go to the bathroom, before it gets dark." I said, doing the pee dance. Cody chuckled and went to his tent to get some toilet paper. He handed it to me, and I went into the woods to do my business. Soon I realized that I was lost, and wanted more than anything to call for help, but I heard something and I swore I was going to die.

I ran towards Cody's voice and leapt into his arms. He wrapped me in his arms, and looked concerned. "Woah. What happened?" He asked, pulling me closer. "I thought I was going to die, because I thought I was lost, and I heard twigs breaking, so I thought something was after me!" I wailed. "It's ok, I have you, nothing will get you now." Cody said, hugging me tight.

We walked back to where we were camping, and got unpacked and settled in. After we finished, we sat by the fire and told ghost stories. I nearly jumped out of my seat when Lisa told a story that I thought was pretty much directed towards me. I think Cody saw that I was uncomfortable, so he pulled me close, and Lisa scowled. I'm pretty sure the scowl was invisible to Cody, considering he didn't do anything. When it was my turn, I told a pretty lame story about ghosts and stuff. Cody told an epic story that sent shivers down all of our spines.

We were tired, so we decided to call it a night. My mom would have a fit if I slept in the same tent a Cody, and with there only being two tents, I was forced to sleep with Lisa and Ruby. We were all oblivious to what would soon happen.
