"Ughh" I sighed ploppin down on the bench. Me and Chandra were goin for a little walk and honestly it was killing me. My back pains are terrible and it's hot as hell out here.

"Girl ya so lazy already" Chandra giggled.

"Shut up" I said flipping her the bird.

"Lemme take your picture Myla you're glowing" she said pulling out her phone snapping pics of me before I could say anything.

"Delete those I probably look all fat"

"Chicka hush you look good besides u aloud to gain as much weight as you want u got my niece in there" she smiled

I laughed "and what makes you think it's a girl?"

"I can tell...just by the way you're stomach is sitting up high and you're always craving sweet things" she said.

"We shall find out soon" I said looking down at my feet that I almost couldn't see

"So you know August lil trick went ballistics when she found out you were pregnant too" she said.

"How did she even find out? I didn't even get to tell August yet!" I said rolling my eyes

"You know mama big mouth self can't hold water"

"Right I shouldn't have even told her & when was this??"

"About 2 days ago I guess August wanted to make her feel better so he took her on a vacation I don't know where they are but they left yesterday" Chandra informed me.

"Wow so he finds out his ex is pregnant and the first thing he does is take his bitch on a vacation instead of checking up on me..you know what I can't deal ..these niggas are just dumb " I said biting the inside of my cheek

"Honestly y'all gotta come to some type of agreement. She's pregnant , you pregnant y'all not together they are"

"I understand that but my child will NOT be around her I refuse to have my child confused as to who and why his or her daddy isn't with the mother that's not the type of environment I want my child to be in so if August doesn't reach out to me first then so be it!" I said coldly

"Myla dat ain't da way to go on about things you acting like dat ain't doin a damn thing but making it worse be the bigger person in the situation" Chandra pleaded

"I'm ready to go!" I said getting up and wobbling back to my condo with her following behind me.

"Ya gotta stop running away from all ya problems " she said

"I'm not running away I'm just tired of getting let down"

"Just think about everything I said aight?" Chandra said as she walked me to my door.

I nodded.

"Love you girl" she said

"Love you too Cha" I said and then turned on my heels walking inside my condo making sure to shut and lock the door behind me.

I kicked my shoes off , tied my hair up and plopped down on the couch in my living room. I rubbed circles around my belly looking down at my pudge.

"Everything is gonna be alright baby mommy got you love" I mumbled.

I stared off into space thinking about what Cha said and I'm starting to think she was right. I pulled my phone out and went to August contact to send him a text.

Me: hey sorry to bother you but when you get a chance stop by we need to talk.

After pressing send I started to feel a little more better. At this point nothin matters but my child and his or her well being. Yeah I've made some mistakes and I should've been more careful having sex with August while he was in a relationship but things happen for a reason. I just don't want this to all fall out of proportion I don't wanna feel like I'm in competition with this girl over the love of my life ..guess I just gotta suck it up and hit the off button on my feelings.
