A couple of days later Cass was discharged from hospital and given a supply of her steroid tablets along with some antidepressants. She told everyone that it wouldn't happen again but Ten and Taeyong were defiant that she should at least have them just in case.
The funeral was a few days away and Cass was doing better. She slept at least 2 hours every night and she was eating properly. Well, she was eating less than the old Cass but that amount was normal to other people.
On the day of the funeral, Ten, Taeyong and some of the other boys took a day off to attend. The funeral wasn't big but it was enough. After a teary ceremony, the burial ensued and Cass watched as the man who had raised her alone was put 6 feet under. She was sad but knew he was watching over her from the clouds above. She wanted to make him proud, she just wasn't sure how yet.
After the funeral, people were gradually leaving the burial ground after giving Cass their condolences. Ten, Taeyong, Jaehyun and some of the other boys were helping to clear up so had removed their suit jackets and were taking chairs back to the main building. This left Cass alone for a while but it was nice. A spring breeze had picked up so she grabbed one of the suit jackets by her side knowing it was Taeyong's (the width of the shoulders gave it away a bit).
As she sat by herself a woman approached her. Expecting another message of condolence from either some distant relative or her fathers work colleague, Cass turned to face the woman. However as she did so she regretted it.
"Hello Ca Shi, how are you baby?"
