Plot:
This is one of the short stories that really make you think. The plot shapes up very well towards the end, and we all know it moves towards a happy endings. But, this is one of the books where the progress of the main character is more important than a happy ending.
Grammar and Vocabulary:
There are a few minute slip ups with the grammar and slight vocab changes would've added to the story but overall the effect of the book is not diminished. The grammar is alright, but an eagle eyed editor can spot even the tiniest mistakes.
Verdict:
I strongly believe you should read this one. The author of this book, has another much more popular teen fiction book, and I've read that as well and it's nice, but this one is much better. Since it was a short story, there are lesser mistakes and lesser plot holes. Go and give this one a read.
