Max's P.O.V

~Beep...Beep...Beep..~

I slammed my hand down on the off button and slowly opened my eyes to see the tie-dye celing of my room.  A small smile etched its way onto my face and I slid out from under the covers, letting my feel touch the cold hardwood floor.  Shivering, I stood up and walked into my connecting bathroom and hit the radio on my way in.  Loud music played through the speakers on the bathroom walls.  Dancing around I pulled out all of my shower stuff and quickly took my morning shower. "We can't stop, we won't stop..." I quietly sang under my breath as I washed my hair and body. Humming the rest I finished up and toweled off putting everything away.

Making my way back into my room I figured out what I wanted to wear and pulled it on, smiling at my self in the mirror ( http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=103176183 ).  Jumping down the stairs I greeted my parents and stole a piece of toast. "Morning Daddy," I said cheerfully.  " Good morning Sweetie," he replied standing up to put his coffee cup in the sink. I was his only child and his precious daughter. "Have a good day darling, be safe," he said as my best friend Ashley's car horn beeped outside the house. "Okay daddy, love you mom," I said as I made my way to the door and as i walked out their synced replies of "I love you too" floated through my ears like music.  I loved my family more than life itself.

~Skipping the ride to school~

Pulling up at the school I frowned at Ashley.  "You haven't said one word the whole ride Ash.. what's going on," I asked quietly.  "Today Jake turns 18 and he's supposed to find his mate, and you know I've liked him for a long time but I doubt I'll be his mate and I dunno..." Ashley mumbled quietly.  Shaking my head I pulled her into a hug and mumbled some "It'll be okay's".  Finally we got out of the car and my eyes immediately landed on Blake, my boyfriend of 2 years.  He was the Beta of the pack and my long time friend along with Ashley, I loved him.  Giggling I ran over to him and jumped on his back. "Hey what the-," Blake cut himself off after he sniffed the air and realized it was me. A smile firmly planted on my lips I slid off his back and landed on the ground with a thud.  "Morning babe," he said before quickly pressing his lips to mine and pulling me into his warm embrace.  "Morning," I mumbled thinking about the mate thing today.  Me and Blake weren't mates, and we both knew that someday we would be pulled away from each other by the fates, but this bothered me.  What if somehow i was Jake's mate.. i wouldn't be able to just leave Blake, i loved him. Huffing slightly i grabbed Blake's hand and we headed in as the bell rang.  Today would be interesting...

 *Authors Note* Hey Guys! so this is the first chapter of my new story Babydoll Mate.  I know I haven't even posted enough of the story for you to get the real idea of what is going on right now or the juicy drama that will definetly be coming soon but I would ADORE some comments telling me how this was and later on in the book if you have ideas, thoughts, comments, likes, dislikes, or anything of that kind.  I appreciate feedback of both good and bad.  I'll update soon :)
