- Soundtrack - Bird in a Cage - Spelles -"Grace Quisling. Before, when someone said that name, I would cower and do whatever they told me to do. This usually meant that I had to wash the floors, clothes, then eat and sleep.
But now, every time someone says my name - I pull out my sword. 'Who of you scoundrels is calling me?!' I say - 'show yourself or I'll blood severely!' Yes. That is me.
Poor little Grace of three years ago is gone, because I, the present Grace, is now officially... A pirate!"
The cheers of the pirates followed my speech, with clashes of beer-mugs and satisfied grins.
Hook then approached me with a brilliant sword. It was silver – just my size, and carved in it said with a very fancy font: Grace Quisling.
He was about to give it to me when Elwin approached Hook from the back.
"May I?" He asked.
Hook nodded in approval and handed him the sword. Elwin kneeled before me.
"Dear Gracie." Elwin is the only person who can call me that. "I will now give you a sword that will mark you as an official crew member of the Jolly Roger. I'm so proud of you. I know this sounds cheesy, but – you have shown to be a very strong little girl and you have proven to me that size doesn't matter." He chuckled a little. We both thought of the same thing – the time when I beat him with sword fighting. "I want you to know that I am extremely glad to have you join us."
"Oh, enough with the lovely stuff. Just give her that sword!" Hook said.
Both of us laughed.
"Here you go." Elwin let go of the sword and I took it in my hands. It played with my fingers a little... I got used to the handle... SLASH!
As a smile tugged the corners of my lips I swung the sword just past Elwin, ending with its tip on his neck.
"Easy, Grace. Not very noble of you. Attacking a man unarmed?" He raised one eyebrow.
"You're not unarmed. I know that trick." I glanced over to a hidden pistol in his pocket. "And I was just getting used to this sword. You know how these things go. If I were really challenging you, I would of cut your sleeve." With that I turned around with my head held up high – the roars of the other pirates ringing in my ears.
I could still feel Elwin's smile as I walked away.
"She's feisty, that one."

I walked into the bar where a boy with short black hair and brown eyes was waiting for me. He looks like he could be my twin, except that he looks a little too different.
Skandar Belser has been my best friend since I became a pirate. Hook noticed I was a little lonely, (since I was surrounded by adults) so he searched and searched in London to find me a friend. That turned out to be Skandar.
The other pirates have always described us as the "inseparable trouble-maker duo".
I still remember the day we met.
We were both nine, but he was a head taller than me.
Skandar loved pirates. He had sword-fighted his whole life, with a wooden sword he made. So when he met me he asked if I was truly I pirate and I told him I was training to be one. Then he challenged me to a duel. Luckily, I had just begun my classes, so we were both at the same level. The problem was Skandar had never held a real sword before, and they are actually pretty heavy. So when I lent him one his hands dropped to the floor together with the sword. In the end we couldn't duel.
