They walked through a narrow passage and up several flights of stairs until they reached a round room. Ed slid open the red velvet curtains to reveal four tall thin window equally spaced. They let in just enough light. Ellie sat down on the canopy bed, resting from the climb up the stairs.
"Come take a look at this," Ed said as he stood next to the window.
"What are the guards doing?" Ellie asked.
"They are marching in formation to relieve the guards that have been on duty for the last eight hours," Ed replied.
"So they have to change three times a day?" Ellie asked.
"Yes and everyday," Ed answered.
"It pretty important to protect the royal family? " Ellie asked.
"Many would give their lives to see that no harm would come to any of the royal family members," Ed answered.
Ellie took Eds hand and placed it next to hers. Her hand was half the size his. They smiled at each other and Ed cleared his throat.
"Ellie, ever since I met you, your the only thing I can think about," Ed confessed.
"Me too. I have never been so attracted to some one in my life, like you," Ellie said.
"You are perfect in every way. When I saw you I thought you were an angel, and now that I have met you I'm sure of it," Ed said.
"How do smell so good all the time?" Ellie asked as she stepped closer to him to sniff again.
Ed leaned down and Ellie kissed him, then she kissed him back with more passion. He swooped her off her feet and placed her gently on the bed.
He took off his shirt and underneath was a tan tight six pack. They continued to kiss as Ellie slipped out of her dress and then they completely undressed. Ellie ran her hand down Ed's back to his firm butt and gently squeeze him. He leaned down and kissed her breast. Within moments they were in the throws of passion. Dust blew off of the old bed covers as they made love to each other. It was the first time for both of them. They held each other afterwards.
"That was wonderful Ellie," Ed said as he kissed her.
"Yes it was," Ellie said.
"We must get back before we're missed," Ed said.
"What would happen if we laid here all day?" Ellie asked.
"The body guards would tell the queen and I be punished in a cruel way," Ed said with sadness in his voice.
"Well let's hurry so no one finds out," Ellie said as she dressed.
They returned the room to how they found it and ran down the stairway then returned the dress back to the glass case. They each looked each other over to make sure everything was in place. Ed kissed Ellie then they walked out of the secret passage. His two body guards was looking for him as Diane followed.
"Sire is everything alright?" one guard asked the Prince.
"Yes. Why do you ask?" the Prince asked.
"No reason sire," he replied.
"Return to the party, I'll be right behind you," the Prince commanded.
"Yes sire," the two body gaurds replied.
The guards and Diane walked fifty feet ahead of Ed and Ellie as they whispered.
